Residential camp in Lles de Cerdanya, Spain
Junior Trekking 7x7 is a week-long walking traverse in the Pyrenees for teenagers aged 13 to 15, built around one clear goal: reaching seven summits in seven days. Setting out from the Pyrene base camp in the woods of the Cerdanya valley, the group walks towards emblematic peaks such as Puigpedrós, Bony Manyer, Carlit, Peric, Coma d'Or, Puigmal, Tossa Plana de Lles, Perafita and Pedraforca, crossing between Cerdanya and the neighbouring valleys. Phones, tablets and consoles stay behind, so the days are filled with walking, picnic lunches in high meadows, evenings shared with campers from the other Pyrene camps and nights under the mountains. English runs through camp life thanks to native English-speaking monitors from the United States, Canada and Great Britain working alongside local Catalan- and Spanish-speaking staff, and around a third of participants come from abroad. It is a stay for young people who want simplicity, long days outdoors and the satisfaction of standing on a summit they have earned on foot.
