Sports camps in Brazil are really traditional multi-activity camps in which sport fills part of a broader day: Acampamento Terra do Sol, Acampark and Sítio do Carroção, all in São Paulo state, mix swimming, general sports, arts and crafts and outdoor activities across two intakes each year — one over the July holidays, one over the school summer break.

All three are residential, with children from around five through the late teens sleeping in dormitories or shared rooms split by age and gender. Since the three camps sit close together and share a similar mix, families choose mainly on accommodation style and which session fits their dates.
