Multi-activity camps in Maine are all residential and lake-based. Camp Kingswood, in Bridgton, mixes swimming, gymnastics, lacrosse and soccer around camp life; Camp North Star, near Poland Spring, lets campers choose electively across arts, athletics and the waterfront; Camp Runoia, in Belgrade, is a girls' camp built around community living and horseback riding; and Camp Wekeela, in Hartford, blends creative and performing arts with waterfront swimming and outdoor adventure.
All four are residential camps taking children from about six to the late teens; the main choice for parents is between a coed camp and a girls-only one, and how much of the day is elective versus a set programme.
Every figure is computed live from the camps listed on this page.
