Lenguaventura Camps offer a carefully designed summer experience in Tarifa, southern Spain, for teenagers aged 14–17. Created specifically for this age group, the camp combines language learning, watersports, and outdoor activities within a safe and supportive environment. What sets Lenguaventura apart is its focus on simplicity, authenticity, and outdoor living. Daily life is centered around nature, the sea, and shared real-life experiences. The atmosphere is calm and well structured, following a clear rhythm that gives teenagers enough space to enjoy activities and free time naturally. A key distinction of the camp is the freedom of choice built into each day. Teenagers select both their morning activities and their afternoon watersport sessions, allowing them to shape their own experience while remaining within a clear and supervised framework. Watersport programs are adapted to all levels, from complete beginners to advanced participants, ensuring progression, safety, and appropriate challenge. Alongside active programs, equal importance is given to unstructured time. Each day includes generous moments to rest, reflect, and simply enjoy being at camp - whether strolling through Tarifa's cobblestone streets, discovering small local shops, or sharing a pause together between activities. This unhurried downtime is an essential part of the experience and contributes to the camp’s overall quality and wellbeing. Language learning at Lenguaventura takes place beyond the classroom. English and Spanish are practiced naturally through daily interactions, shared activities, excursions, and group life. This real-life immersion helps students communicate with ease and use language confidently in meaningful, everyday situations. Lenguaventura Camps welcome teenagers from all over the world, creating an international and bilingual atmosphere where diversity is valued and friendships develop naturally. As a result, teenagers feel comfortable being themselves while learning to live, communicate, and collaborate with others in an international setting. Through its calm location, experienced team, and thoughtful structure, Lenguaventura Camps offer a summer experience that develops practical language skills and allows teenagers to discover or deepen their engagement with watersports through regular, well-supported practice. This is combined with a strong sense of ease, giving parents confidence that safety, wellbeing, and guidance remain central at all times.

The week at Tarifa follows a rhythm that teenagers settle into within a day or two. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays are split in two: mornings are for the programme each camper chooses when booking, either Spanish or English classes from beginner to advanced, the sport-and-wellbeing Active Start block, or the Creative Sparks arts and innovation workshops, twelve hours a week in total. Afternoons belong to the sea, with three-hour kitesurf, windsurf or wingfoil sessions at the beach, also twelve hours a week, in small groups formed by ability rather than age. Wednesdays and Saturdays replace that pattern with full-day excursions, and Sundays are deliberately slower, with group sports, workshops and beach time. Free time between roughly 7 and 9 in the evening leads into dinner and organised evening activities and soirées, all inside a 1:10 supervision ratio with a night monitor on duty. What gives the camp its character is this combination of genuine sporting progression on one of Europe's best wind spots with a small, family-run international group where Spanish and English are simply the languages everyone shares.

I just wanted to email to say thank you from our daughter for a great week. She thoroughly enjoyed her time on the camp, and especially loved learning kite surf! She has returned with a much better grasp of conversational Spanish too. The camp leaders were fantastic at making sure that she could rest when needed; and this was much appreciated as it meant that she could manage the entire week and make the most of all the activities on offer. Thank you for looking after her so well and I will definitely be recommending the camp to others.

This camp was one of the most unforgettable holiday my son has ever done! The location is wonderful. Tarifa is a nice village perfect for windsports lovers, not too big so that they can go around by themselves and fell free and independent. The team of Lenguaventura is a great team, available, kind and ready to enjoy. Our son really appreciated the relationships established with all of them as well as with the instructors of the windsurf school. Moreover I was very happy because he was surrounded by boys and girls from all over the world and when he was back home he was speaking so many languages and happy for all the friends he had known. I recommend the camp with Lenguaventura because it is a great experience that enriched the children, made them independent and responsible in an atmosphere of great fun, sport and culture.

Lenguaventura follows a balanced mobile phone policy. The camp is not anti-phone, but encourages a pro-life, pro-presence approach, promoting real social interaction and engagement in camp life. Participants are allowed to keep their mobile phones during certain hours of the day; however, phones are placed in a secure “black box” during meals, language lessons, water sports activities, and evening activities.
