Language Campus runs this residential language camp in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The camp welcomes children aged 12–18, with sports, adventure, and water activities on the programme. Typically open June to August — new dates coming soon. Sessions last 1–2 weeks. Activities run in English and Spanish.
Our Summer Camps in Gran Canaria and Tenerife offer an exceptional combination of language learning, cultural immersion, and outdoor adventure in two of the most attractive destinations in Spain. Students can choose the island that best suits their preferences, as both programs provide equally enriching and high-quality experiences. Designed for students aged 12 to 18, the camps follow a communicative and practical methodology based on the CEFR framework. Participants attend 20 lessons per week in English or Spanish, taught by qualified native teachers, in small international groups that encourage interaction and confidence in real-life communication. Beyond the classroom, students enjoy a full program of cultural visits, sports, and excursions. In Gran Canaria, activities include city tours, surfing, visits to iconic locations such as Maspalomas and Mogán, and a vibrant urban experience in Las Palmas. In Tenerife, students explore stunning natural landscapes such as Teide National Park, enjoy famous beaches, and take part in unique activities like Siam Park and cultural city visits. Both camps include full-board accommodation in carefully selected hotels, airport transfers, and a wide range of supervised activities, ensuring a safe, dynamic, and international environment. Whether choosing Gran Canaria or Tenerife, students will experience a perfect balance of learning and leisure, improving their language skills while creating unforgettable memories in a unique island setting. 🌞🌍

The rhythm of this camp is simple and consistent: language lessons in the morning, island and city life for the rest of the day. Students take 20 lessons a week of 45 minutes each, either Spanish or English, in small groups of no more than 20 formed by level according to the Common European Framework, with learning built around tasks, projects and practical experiences rather than textbook drills. Each group stays together with its own monitor all day, so the classroom group becomes the group that goes surfing, crosses the island and sits down to dinner together. Afternoons and full days follow a fixed excursion calendar of four half-day outings and two full-day trips per week, which means the vocabulary practised in the morning is immediately put to work ordering food, buying tickets or chatting on the bus. Optional Fun Packs let students add airsoft, an escape room or water sports if they want more, and continuous assessment through the stay leads to a certificate handed over at the farewell party. Being based in the centre of Las Palmas, a few minutes' walk from both the academy and Las Canteras beach, gives the whole programme a city-and-ocean feel that a remote campus cannot offer.

I would like to thank Language Campus Gran Canaria for the incredible holidays that my students and I enjoyed. First of all, we stayed in a very comfortable accommodation with all the necessary amenities, just a short walk from the promenade and the beach. Everything was close by, so it was wonderful to spend time on a rooftop with a jacuzzi or watch the sunset while having a coffee near the bay. Secondly, we had excellent classes with attentive and professional teachers who took into account the needs of all students and provided high-quality teaching. The learning environment is also very well organized, so time flew by thanks to our full engagement. The activities were amazing! Excursions, fun, museums, beach time, hiking… it was a fascinating program, with perfect coordination and constant support from our monitor, Adán. Overall, this camp exceeded all our expectations, and we fell in love with the island, the campus, and its staff. If you want to have a wonderful and unforgettable experience while improving your language skills, I definitely recommend Language Campus Gran Canaria. It's a place you'll want to come back to!

Students are supervised around the clock, from the moment they are collected at the airport to their departure transfer. Each group has its own monitor who stays with the same students in class, at meals, on the beach and on excursions, which means someone always knows where your child is and how their week is going. Class groups are kept small, with a maximum of 20 students and one monitor responsible for each group, and the hotels themselves are covered by 24-hour supervision. Language Campus also keeps a 24/7 support line open throughout the stay, so families can reach someone at any time during the programme.
The programme is full board, so every meal of the day is taken care of: breakfast before lessons, lunch between the language course and the afternoon programme, and dinner back at the 4-star hotel where the group stays. Because the hotels sit in the centre of Las Palmas a few steps from Las Canteras beach, meals fit naturally around excursion days and the group's outings.

Accommodation and Facilities: Students attending the Gran Canaria Summer Camp stay in 4-star hotels located in the city center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, within walking distance of both the school and Las Canteras Beach. Accommodation is provided in shared rooms with 2–3 students per room, creating a comfortable and social environment. Each room includes Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the stay. In Tenerife, students stay in a 3-star resort, offering shared rooms with 2–3 students per room in a comfortable and social environment. The resort provides Wi-Fi and other facilities to ensure a convenient and enjoyable stay. Students at both camps receive full board, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are usually served at the hotel, while during full-day excursions students receive a packed lunch or eat at a local restaurant. Lessons take place at the Language Campus facilities in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which are equipped with modern classrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, computers, and digital screens to support interactive learning. In Tenerife, classes are held at a nearby school close to the hotel, and students will be transported there by private bus. Both camps benefit from their prime locations, allowing easy access to beaches, cultural attractions, sports facilities, museums, and other activity locations used throughout the program. This provides students with a safe and dynamic environment where they can learn, explore, and enjoy the island.
