Residential Spanish camp in Alicante, Spain

At ISC Spain Summer Camps, we emphasize Spanish language, sports, and culture in an international and youthful environment. ISC's objective is to promote the Spanish language and culture through education, sports, and leisure activities. All our programs have been specifically designed for young people seeking a blend of fun, cultural experiences, and an opportunity to learn the Spanish language while engaging in sports during the summer. If you're between 13 and 17 years old and wish to spend your summertime in an experience of a lifetime, you are in the right place. Alicante, the capital of the Costa Blanca, is a medium-sized city on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Its excellent location and climatic conditions, with over 300 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature around 18ºC, make Alicante and its surroundings an ideal place to visit and enjoy throughout the year. Alicante offers sea, sports, culture, and more. Its extensive beaches and modern sports and educational facilities make it perfect for training, practicing sports, and enjoying typical Mediterranean culture and customs. Program Options: - Leisure - Basketball - Football - Golf - Multisport - Tennis - Volleyball - Watersports - Personalized Package

The Alicante programme is built around four pillars that ISC keeps in balance every day: Spanish, sport, culture and leisure. Mornings from 09:00 to 13:00 are given to twenty hours a week of Spanish classes, or to watersports on San Juan beach for those who would rather start the day in the sea, and after lunch and a break the whole camp moves into its chosen sport from 16:00 to 19:00, roughly twelve hours a week. Each family builds a customised package by picking one discipline — football, tennis, golf, basketball, volleyball, padel, dance or watersports — and within it students are grouped by beginner, intermediate or expert level so nobody is left behind or held back; those staying more than a week can take the Multisport option and change sport week by week. Evenings belong to the leisure and culture side, with dinner around 19:00 to 21:00 and organised night activities from 21:00 to 23:00, from city walks and castle visits to flamenco and pool games. Coaching happens at real venues rather than only on campus, including the Plantio golf school, the 40/15 Tennis Club, the University of Alicante pitches and Alicante's beaches. With more than a thousand students from some seventy countries in a single summer, the common language between new friends quickly becomes the Spanish they are learning in class.

My experience in Alicante with ISC was amazing! I have to say that before going in Alicante I was scared that I would have passed all the holiday alone without making any friends, but thanks to all the sport activities,Spanish classes and the member of the staff that are super friendly and kind with you from the moment you walk in the campus, after one day I already knew almost everyone there and I passed 2 weeks surrounded by amazing people doing sport, going to the beach, going to the city centre...all while learning Spanish! I had so much fun and I’ll never forget the two weeks spent in Alicante with ISC.

Been to this camp for two years in a row and honestly best times of my life! Spanish lessons are great, and actually enjoyable. The sport is incresible and the evening activities are always fun. Also the first camp I’ve ever been to where all the monitors are friendly and you can actually get to know them as friends. 100% would recommend ISC to anyone.

Screen time policy

Rooms at the ISC residence are equipped with television, a telephone and free WiFi, so campers can message home and share photos of their day without difficulty. The team does ask families to use that contact thoughtfully: if you think your child may feel homesick, they recommend keeping contact to an absolute minimum during the first 48 hours, since in their experience homesickness has usually disappeared by the third day. Should anything worry your child at any point, they are encouraged to speak to any member of staff, including the management, rather than sorting it out by phone alone.
