Expanish Málaga Summer Language Camp

The week follows a clear and reassuring rhythm: Spanish lessons every weekday morning, then a supervised afternoon and evening programme that puts the language straight to work in the city. Afternoons bring cultural, social and sporting activities of two to four hours — walking tours of the historic centre, museum visits, flamenco and salsa classes, park picnics — several times a week, while three evenings are set aside for organised night activities such as movie nights, disco nights and night tours. Three life skills workshops each week add a quieter, more reflective strand on confidence, wellbeing and independence, and weekends open up to an excursion beyond Málaga for campers staying two weeks or more. Nothing is optional: attendance at classes and activities is expected, groups are led by Spanish staff and activity leaders experienced with teenagers, and the whole programme is deliberately mixed so students from more than fourteen nationalities share every activity. What gives the camp its character is the small scale and the city itself — teenagers live and study on a university campus residence with Expanish staff alongside them, and Málaga's beaches, museums and old streets become the classroom every afternoon.
