Activities

Special focus

Spanish · Languages

The week has a clear and reassuring rhythm: Spanish classes fill every weekday morning, then afternoons open up into three to five cultural activities a week, each running two to four hours, from walking tours and museum visits to flamenco and salsa classes. Three evenings a week bring structured social activities such as movie night, disco night or a guided night tour, so free time is never unsupervised time. Three life skills workshops per week add a second thread to the programme, giving teens practical tools in public speaking, mindfulness, cooking, teamwork and money management alongside the language. Each week is rounded off with an excursion, a day trip or weekend adventure to a nearby cultural site. Everything happens in one mixed international group of 12 to 17 year olds from more than 14 countries, accompanied by local Expanish staff available around the clock, which is what turns a language course into a shared summer.
