Our summer camp offers an exceptional experience for young people aged 14-17 who are eager to learn Spanish and embrace new cultures. We combine daily immersive Spanish lessons with fun-filled cultural and sports activities, providing a well-rounded, engaging environment for language learning and personal growth. Program Details The camp includes 4 hours of intensive Spanish classes each day, taught by native speakers who focus on both language skills and cultural context. After lessons, students participate in a variety of activities such as local excursions, art workshops, and team sports, ensuring that learning continues outside the classroom. Our activities are designed to help students practice their language skills in real-life situations, all while making new friends from different countries. Accommodation Options We offer accommodation with Spanish host families, providing a unique opportunity to immerse in the local culture and practice Spanish daily. Families are carefully selected for their welcoming atmosphere and commitment to providing a safe environment. For those who prefer, we also offer the option to stay in a residence with peers or even attend the camp without accommodation. Our goal is to provide flexible options to suit every family's needs while ensuring a memorable and enriching experience. What sets our camp apart is our focus on creating an international community where students not only learn a new language but also build lasting friendships and gain valuable cultural insights.

Debla's summer programme is built for 14 to 17 year olds who want to learn Spanish while enjoying the Málaga summer, and the whole thing is organised around linguistic immersion: lessons in the morning, then an afternoon and evening programme designed so that Spanish carries on being used outside the classroom. Everything is grouped by level and taken as a group, so students move through the week together — excursions in Málaga and Andalusia, cooking lessons, dance classes, sport on the beach and school parties all rotate through the schedule. Weekly tutoring gives each student a moment to check progress with a teacher, and a certificate at the end records the level reached. What gives the programme its character is the setting and the scale: a small hillside school in La Malagueta with sea views, garden and terrace classrooms, five minutes from the beach and ten from the city centre, where students from many countries end up speaking Spanish to each other because it is the only language they share.

Gracias al campamento, ahora me siento mucho más seguro hablando español. Las clases eran interesantes y fuera del aula también tuvimos muchas oportunidades para hablar con nativos. Fue una experiencia muy enriquecedora.

I attended the Debla Summer Camp for two weeks and it was an unforgettable experience. Even though it was a short stay, I felt completely immersed in both the Spanish language and the local culture. The classes were dynamic and fun—my teacher, **Laura**, created a relaxed and supportive atmosphere that made learning feel easy and enjoyable. The camp also included a full program of afternoon activities, which was a great way to discover Málaga, meet other students, and practice Spanish in real-life situations. Whether it was a beach outing, a cooking class, or a cultural visit, there was always something new and exciting to do. Debla’s location is absolutely beautiful—just a short walk from the beach, surrounded by nature, and with stunning views of the sea. The staff and teachers were kind, professional, and truly passionate about what they do. If you're looking for a short but intense and meaningful way to improve your Spanish while enjoying the summer in southern Spain, I can't recommend Debla enough!

Getting your child there
Aeropuerto de Málaga - Costa del Sol
Pickup service · Málaga–Costa del Sol is the arrival airport, roughly 20–25 minutes from the school. Debla runs its own transfer service in both directions: a driver waits for your child at the airport and takes them straight to their accommodation, and you are given the driver's mobile number in advance so that a delayed flight can be reported directly. The school asks that a transfer is booked whenever arrival is later than 10pm and a place in a shared apartment has been reserved. Families who prefer public transport can use the Line A Express bus, which runs every 30 minutes from 06:30 to 00:45 and ends at Paseo del Parque, a ten-minute walk from the school, or the C1 Cercanías train, which reaches Málaga Centro–Alameda in about 10–12 minutes.
Cam. del Monte, 23, Distrito Centro, 29016 Málaga, Spain
The school sits at Cam. del Monte 23 in La Malagueta, on the hillside overlooking the Mediterranean, five minutes' walk from the beach and about ten minutes from Málaga's historic centre, so most of daily life is done on foot. City bus lines 3, 11, 33 and 34 stop nearby if you need them. Accommodation can be moved into from 12:00 on the Sunday before the course begins, and rooms are left in the morning before 11:00 at the end of the stay; if you need to arrive a few days earlier, the office checks availability for you.
