Residential English camp in Matapozuelos, Spain

Camp Treetop is an American-style residential summer camp run entirely in English, set on a private 440,000 m² estate inside a protected pine forest in Valladolid, around 1 hour 45 minutes from Madrid and reserved exclusively for the camp during the summer. It welcomes children aged 8 to 13 (for 2027, those born between 2013 and 2018), who live alongside native English-speaking teachers and monitors in small groups organised by age. There are no English lessons here: English is simply the language of everything, from the zip line and the archery range to the kayaks, the science and tie-dye workshops and the evening campfire, so fluency and confidence grow naturally through doing. Days run from the morning Clubs each camper chooses to pool time, gymkhanas and a nightly velada, with four home-cooked meals, modern lodges and a supervised pool on site. Backed by the 25 years of teaching experience of La Casita de Inglés, the camp pairs genuine adventure with constant, friendly exposure to the language.

Activities

Special focus

English · Languages

The programme follows the rhythm of a traditional American camp, entirely in English. After breakfast and the meeting of the day, campers head to the Club they have chosen for that morning — drama, nature, dance, jewellery, art, sport, chess, cheerleading, music, science or journalism — so every child shapes part of their own day and can try something new each morning. The rest of the morning and the afternoon are given over to rotating activities in small age groups, mixing multi-adventure such as the zip line and climbing wall with pool time, camp olympics, gymkhanas and creative workshops. Evenings bring the whole camp together for veladas: campfires and stories, talent shows and karaoke, movie nights, glow and colour-powder parties or stargazing through a telescope. Because the native teachers lead everything, the English is constant but never feels like study, and campers finish the week with new friends, new skills and noticeably more confidence speaking.
