The programme runs on a simple, dependable rhythm: intensive Spanish in the classroom on Balmes 58, then the city outside as the place to use it. Lessons work through pronunciation, grammar, conversation, text analysis and comprehension, with students grouped by CEFR level so that a month here delivers a complete A1/A2 level or the core content of B1, B2 and C1. Four afternoons from Monday to Friday are given over to leisure and cultural activities rather than more desk time, and each weekend adds one full-day excursion beyond Barcelona. Nothing is elective in the à-la-carte sense; the group moves together, which is part of the appeal for teenagers arriving on their own from abroad and wanting to make friends quickly. What distinguishes the programme is that it comes from an established Barcelona academy whose main business is preparing international students for Spanish university entrance, so the language teaching is treated as a serious academic progression rather than a holiday add-on.
