What to Do If Payment Fails

Updated 7 Jul 2026

If your payment doesn't go through, don't worry. Here's how to identify the problem and resolve it.

COMMON REASONS FOR PAYMENT FAILURE

Payments can fail for several reasons:

Insufficient funds Your account doesn't have enough balance to cover the booking amount.

Card expired Your card's expiration date has passed and needs to be updated.

Incorrect card details The card number, expiry date, or CVV was entered incorrectly.

Bank blocked the transaction Your bank's fraud protection may have flagged the transaction as suspicious.

Daily spending limit reached You've exceeded your card's daily transaction limit.

HOW TO FIX IT

Try these steps to resolve payment issues:

  1. Check your card details — Make sure the card number, expiration date, and CVV are entered correctly.
  2. Try a different card — Use another credit or debit card if you have one available.
  3. Contact your bank — Ask your bank to authorize the transaction or remove any blocks on international payments.
  4. Update expired cards — Go to Account > Payment Methods to update or add a new card.

Tip: If your bank blocked the transaction, they usually send an SMS or notification. Approve it through your banking app and try again.

RETRYING YOUR PAYMENT

After resolving the issue:

  1. Tap "Try again" on the payment failed screen
  2. Select a payment method (or add a new one)
  3. Complete your booking

Note: Your booking details are saved. You don't need to start over from the beginning.
