When is my deposit charged?

Not when you send your request: your card is held, not charged.
The deposit is charged once the camp has accepted your request and your 24 hours of free cancellation have passed. If the camp starts within a week, there is no free-cancellation period: the deposit is charged as soon as the camp accepts.
If the camp declines your request, or does not answer in time, the hold is released and nothing is charged. The rest of the price follows on the dates shown at Review & Pay.
