Based at the University of London, the programme allows students to improve their English, build confidence, make international friends and experience life in one of the world’s most exciting cities. With engaging lessons, organised activities, excursions and dedicated support throughout the programme, students enjoy a summer that combines learning, independence, friendship and adventure.

Our two-week Young Adults Summer Programme combines English learning, career-focused learning and an exciting programme of activities and cultural experiences in London. We offer two intakes, each with a different course focus: **Business Pioneers** Explore the world of business through topics such as entrepreneurship, marketing and innovation. Students develop their English while building skills in communication, teamwork and creative problem-solving. **Global Leaders** Explore global issues and what it means to be a leader in an increasingly connected world. Students develop their English alongside skills in leadership, collaboration, critical thinking and presenting ideas. For both courses, students work in mixed-nationality groups throughout the programme. They collaborate to develop a business idea linked to their course and, at the end of the programme, present their idea in a final business pitch. Alongside their course, students enjoy organised activities, excursions and opportunities to socialise and explore London. They study at the University of London and are supported by our experienced team throughout their stay.

Student safety and wellbeing are our top priority. Our trained safeguarding team provides support day and night, with a low staff-to-student ratio and a 24-hour contact number for students. All activities are risk-assessed and supervised, with clear procedures for health, welfare, and emergencies. Our Young Adults Summer Programme received a British Council ‘strength’ for safeguarding under 18s in its 2024 inspection, as part of a full 15 out of 15 strengths.

Mealtimes are an important part of the Young Adults experience, giving students the chance to enjoy a varied selection of food while relaxing and socialising with friends from around the world. Breakfast is served at Garden Halls, providing a convenient start to the day before students head to lessons and activities. Lunch is served at Senate House, where students eat together and recharge between sessions. Dinner varies depending on the day’s programme. Students may enjoy a meal at Senate House or head out to a restaurant in London, making mealtimes another opportunity to experience the city and try different foods. Meals are designed to offer a good variety of options to suit different tastes, with students dining together in a relaxed, social setting. Staff are on hand throughout mealtimes to provide support and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Screen time policy
Students can bring and use their phones during the programme, with some restrictions to help them get the most from their experience. Phone use is restricted during lessons, and teachers explain the expectations on the first day. During permitted independent free time, students must keep their phone switched on, share their live location with the activity leader and respond to calls from the designated phone.

Students stay at Garden Halls, a modern University of London residence in the heart of Bloomsbury, around a 10-minute walk from Senate House. Single rooms have private ensuite bathrooms, while the residence offers plenty of spaces to relax and socialise, including lounges, a games room, cinema room and landscaped gardens. Students can also make use of the tennis courts and quiet study areas, with a dining hall, launderette and free Wi-Fi on site. Residence staff and wardens are available day and night, while our team provides support throughout the stay.

The programme is based in central London, with teaching taking place at the University of London’s historic Senate House in Bloomsbury. Students are surrounded by museums, shops, parks, and some of London’s most famous landmarks, with excellent transport links that make it easy to explore the city. Students stay at Garden Halls, a modern University of London residence just a short walk from King’s Cross and the University of London. The campus-style residence has landscaped gardens, four tennis courts, communal lounges, a games room and cinema, providing plenty of space to relax and socialise between activities.
