Study Mind runs this residential camp in London, United Kingdom. The camp welcomes children aged 15–18. 13 sessions scheduled Jun 27 – Aug 13, 2027, each lasting 5–12 nights. Activities run in English.
Set in the heart of legal London, this residential career camp gives students aged 15 to 18 a genuine taste of life in the profession rather than another classroom term. Over one, two or three weeks, small groups of ten to twelve work through legal workshops, case studies, mooting and full mock trials, analysing evidence and building arguments much as barristers and solicitors do, before stepping outside to visit courts, chambers and law firms across the city. Teaching comes from practising legal professionals and academics, among them a Head of Chambers, a corporate lawyer and an international human rights specialist, alongside an accredited UCAS adviser who guides students through personal statements, LNAT preparation and mock interviews. Each student also completes a legal research project and receives written tutor feedback, finishing with a certificate of attendance that can support university applications. Students live in University College London's Ramsay Hall near Oxford Street, sharing meals, excursions and evening social events with peers from around the world, which for many is a first taste of university independence.
Optional — available at extra cost
Families choose a one, two or three week stay, and each week builds in the same rhythm: interactive workshops and lectures with legal professionals in the morning, hands-on simulation work such as mooting, debates, case analysis and mock trials, and visits out into the city's courts, chambers and firms. Groups stay small at ten to twelve students, so everyone argues, presents and gets individual feedback rather than sitting at the back. Alongside the legal content runs a steady thread of university preparation, with personal statement workshops, LNAT practice and mock interviews, plus an independent research project that each student develops across the stay. Evenings and weekends belong to residential life at UCL Ramsay Hall, with excursions, sightseeing and social events that mix the group with students from other countries and other career camps. What distinguishes the programme is how much of it is taught by people currently working in law, and how often the learning happens in the real settings where that work is done.

Students are supervised throughout scheduled programme hours and under residential curfews, with 24/7 security, supervision and support in the UCL Ramsay Hall residence. Study Mind publishes a safeguarding policy, a code of conduct and a concerns and complaints procedure, and operates a zero-tolerance approach to alcohol, drugs, harassment and unsafe behaviour. Families must disclose medical conditions, allergies and any additional needs at the time of booking so that safe provision can be arranged, and small class sizes of ten to twelve mean tutors know each student well.
Meals are provided as part of the residential stay at UCL Ramsay Hall, so students eat together in the halls alongside the other amenities of the residence; the site does not break down which individual meals are served.
