Junior golf camps in St Andrews, Scotland, for UK and international golfers aged 7–18. PGA Professional Rick Valentine has run junior golf camps since 2003. RVGS combines professional coaching, memorable Scottish golf, friendships, confidence, independence and enjoyment. 2027 St Andrews weeks: 4–10 July, 18–24 July and 25–31 July. Join for one week or combine weeks. Choose your experience: • Development, ages 7–11: build skills and confidence; no handicap required. • Ultimate, ages 10–18: coaching and varied Scottish golf; no official handicap required. • Hidden Gems, ages 12–18: established 18-hole golfers with an official handicap. • Signature, ages 14–18: established 18-hole golfers with a handicap of 15 or better. Every experience includes two hours of professional group coaching each day, alongside golf appropriate to the experience, with a maximum of eight golfers per experience per week. Age guides are a starting point; playing experience and confidence also matter. Residential places include accommodation, meals, staff support and organised evening activities. Non-residential places include lunch; families arrange accommodation and daily travel. Breakfast and dinner are not included for non-residential golfers. High Performance Coaching is an optional paid enhancement for Ultimate, Hidden Gems and Signature, adding individual analysis and support; it is not a separate camp. Every experience includes two hours of professional group coaching each day alongside golf matched to age, ability and objectives. Development (7–11) and Ultimate (10–18) have no official handicap requirement. Hidden Gems (12–18) is for established 18-hole golfers with an official handicap; Signature (14–18) requires a handicap of 15 or better. Groups have a maximum of eight golfers per experience per week. High Performance Coaching is an optional paid enhancement alongside Ultimate, Hidden Gems and Signature, providing individual feedback, performance analysis and support using TrackMan, Capto and CoachNow. It is not a separate camp and is not available with Development. The programme develops technique, course management, confidence and enjoyment, with Scottish courses selected to suit each experience. Screen time policy
Days at camp are busy from the 7:30am wake-up through to lights off at 10pm, so the team asks that family calls happen in the evening where possible rather than during coaching or play. To protect a proper night's sleep, mobile phones are collected each evening in the boarding house and returned the following day. Children are never out of reach in an emergency: every camper knows who their primary carer is and is given a mobile number they can use 24 hours a day, and parents hold a 24-hour emergency contact number for the house team and Camp Director.

Our St Andrews camps run on 4–10 July, 18–24 July and 25–31 July 2027. Residential accommodation is at McIntosh Hall, University of St Andrews. Coaching and golf take place at the venues in the planned programme, with courses chosen to suit each experience.
