Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz Summer Camp

Enjoy an unforgettable summer in the Swiss Alps, near St. Moritz. In one of the most beautiful places in the world, you'll be able to learn new things, make friends from every corner of the world and of course, have lots of fun. Summer Camp The Summer Camp offers a mix of interactive language learning and a great choice of interesting and fun activities. Time: July Age group: 10-16 years Morning activities: English, French, German and Digital Skills Afternoon programmes: Sports, Golf, Film Acting and Football Camp type: boarding In the evenings and weekends there is a wide range of additional activities on offer from handicraft to rock climbing and river rafting. Junior Day Camp The Junior Day Camp is tailored for children who would like to learn English or German in the morning and join an action-packed programme in the afternoon. Time: July Age group: 6-9 years Languages taught: English and German Camp type: day Wilderness Camp (new in 2027) - Embrace the Outdoors Our Wilderness Camp in the Engadin offers young people the opportunity to explore the mountain environment, develop essential outdoor skills and become more independent. Throughout the week, they will learn how to experience and respect nature responsibly. Depending on weather conditions, the programme includes stays on the school campus, at a hotel and overnight experiences in nature. The safety and well-being of every participant and the group as a whole remain our highest priority. At the weekend, the group returns to the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz campus and joins the other boarding participants of the Summer Camp: river rafting, excursions and a variety of exciting and relaxing experiences. The camp welcomes 20 young people aged 14-17 from around the world, with an equal number of girls and boys. It is designed to be both challenging and rewarding: participants step outside their comfort zones, take responsibility and discover their strengths in an unfamiliar environment. Camp activities (subject to change): expedition planning, navigation with map and compass, hiking and exploration tours, finding and collecting water, survival skills and strategies, nature and environmental awareness, team challenges and group experiences, fire building and outdoor cooking, building overnight shelters, tents and bivouac experiences. Participants should enjoy being active outdoors, have basic hiking skills, be physically fit for day hikes, be prepared for all weather conditions and able to look after their own hygiene and equipment. No previous specialist outdoor experience is required: all essential skills and techniques are taught and practised during the camp.
