Les Elfes welcomes children and teenagers to Verbier for two, three or four-week summer sessions in one of Switzerland's most famous Alpine resorts, set on a sunny plateau in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Days move between outdoor adventure, language classes, sport and excursions, with programs designed to be fun, challenging and just far enough outside each camper's comfort zone. Campers join one of three age groups — Discoverers (6–10), Explorers (11–14) and Pioneers (15–17) — so friendships form naturally among children of the same age from around the world. More than 60 nationalities come through the camp, and every session sets aside a day for sharing cultures: languages from around the world, and multicultural dishes prepared by the kitchen team. The activity list runs past 40 options, from rock climbing, mountain biking and ropes courses to wakeboarding, tubing, paragliding, tennis, golf and horseback riding. Beyond the mountain, excursions reach the icons of Switzerland — the United Nations and CERN, chocolate and cheese factories, the Charlie Chaplin Museum, Geneva, Lausanne and Montreux — with day trips across the border into Italy and France. Optional courses (arts, cooking and theatre, etiquette and table manners, leadership training, first aid, mountain fitness) round out the stay.

Rather than asking children to sign up for activities each morning, Les Elfes builds a full weekly programme for each age group, so campers move through a planned balance of adventure, sport, language learning and excursions with the same monitors and the same friends. Campers are placed in age-based groups — Discoveries for 6 to 10 year olds, Explorers for 11 to 13 and Pioneers for 14 to 17, with an extra Adventure group for 10 to 11 year olds during sessions 2, 3 and 4 so that no group ever exceeds 40 students. A typical day begins with a morning briefing on clothing and equipment, then language classes, sports or workshops in small level-based groups from 9:00 to 11:00, an optional hour for extras such as golf, tennis or horse riding, and afternoons of sport, mountain adventure or lake activities that shift with the age group. Other days are given over entirely to one experience: a cultural excursion by private Les Elfes bus, a day at Lake Geneva or a mountain adventure with an overnight in a hut. Evenings stay in the hands of the team, with social events, group games, cinema nights and campfires before bedtime set according to age, and the choice of more than 45 activities across the Verbier region means returning campers keep finding something new.

Pickup service · Geneva is the nearest airport and sits around two hours by road from Verbier, so most international families fly in there. Les Elfes organises a private bus transfer to and from the airport, booked directly on the enrolment form as a return ticket for arrival and departure days; transfers on other dates can be arranged one way on request. The transfer is listed as an extra available upon request rather than being part of the camp package, so please tick it when you enrol so your child is expected and accompanied on the drive up to the Alps.

Parents who prefer to drive can drop off and collect their child at the campus itself, at Chemin de Cli 7-9 in Bagnes, a peaceful spot just a short walk from the centre of Verbier village. The reception hall is permanently staffed, so there is always someone to welcome you, complete the arrival formalities and show your child to their room. Pickup service · Families travelling through Switzerland by rail can bring their child as far as Martigny, in the Rhone valley below Verbier, and let the camp handle the final climb into the mountains.
