Overview
Our summer camp in the stunning Swiss Jura offers students aged 10 to 15 an unforgettable experience packed with exciting opportunities to learn, explore, and have fun. Whether you’re mastering a new language with our beginner and intermediate English, French or German courses, there’s something for everyone. Afternoons come alive with a wide range of thrilling sports like horse riding, tennis, and ice hockey, while creative minds can shine in Arts and Crafts. For adventurers, we offer exhilarating activities like kayaking, hiking, go-karting, and Via Ferrata. Evenings are filled with vibrant events - outdoor movie nights, scavenger hunts, and epic-themed parties that will make every week unforgettable. Wednesdays are for discovering the wonders of Switzerland, France, and Germany, and our "Big Sunday" adventures take it up a notch with paragliding, canyoning, and weekend trips to Europa Park and Disneyland Paris. Campers can also dive into Swiss culture with our one-of-a-kind "Tick-Tock Workshop," learning the art of Swiss watchmaking. With so many unique experiences, our camp is more than just a summer—it’s an adventure like no other.

Afternoons are packed with thrilling activities. Choose from sports like horse riding, tennis, football, basketball, ice hockey, figure skating and even curling. For the adventurous, we offer kayaking, accrobranching, go-karting, laser games, hiking scenic trails, and via Ferrata. For our culture lovers, savour local flavours with visits to a cheese factory and chocolate manufacturer. Our evening program is brimming with exciting on-campus events, from outdoor movie nights and water balloon fights to scavenger hunts around town and lively competitive games. Campers can also enjoy board game evenings, Cultural Night, and the always-popular Saint-Charles’ Got Talent show. Every Friday, we throw a themed party with music, delicious food, entertaining games, a photo booth corner to capture the fun, and many other surprises you won’t want to miss! On Saturday nights, we host a special welcome party for newcomers, helping them settle in and start building lasting friendships

With us, you can choose from beginner and intermediate English, French or German courses, led by experienced instructors through interactive lessons and engaging activities. Whether you’re just starting or looking to advance, our classes are designed to fit your language level and goals. Beyond languages, explore your creative side with Arts and Crafts, expressing yourself through acting and dancing. Or, dive into technology with our AI course, learning the basics of coding and computer programming in an exciting, hands-on environment.
Language lessons
The primary language at Saint-Charles International School’s Summer Experience is English. However, since Saint-Charles is located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, you’ll also hear some French. Our summer camp offers students a unique language-learning experience with tailored courses in beginner and intermediate English, French and German. Students engage each week in 14 hours of immersive language classes guided by experienced instructors, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing. With a dynamic curriculum and interactive exercises, the program helps students build fluency, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for language and culture.

Across the street, our male and female students enjoy two charming residences, each offering a peaceful retreat. With only two students per room, these private spaces foster friendship while providing the luxury of personal space, complete with ensuite showers and bathrooms. Relax in the cozy lounge, or prepare your favorite meals in the fully equipped kitchen - truly a home away from home. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a comfortable and unforgettable stay. Daily housekeeping keeps rooms spotless, with fresh bed linens and towels provided, and laundry is taken care of twice a week, so campers can focus on making the most of their summer.
