Activities

Special focus

French · Languages

BLI's junior camps are built around a simple idea: children come to Montreal to live in the language rather than only study it, so each day pairs English or French lessons with a full programme of activities run by the school's own team. Campers are grouped by language level after placement, then move together through the activity side of the day, which mixes city discovery, sport and creative workshops in what BLI describes as a safe and caring environment. Because the summer programme is all-inclusive, families arrange one package and the school takes care of the rest, from lessons and activities to airport transfers. The same formula runs in winter under the FLAP name and can be booked as a closed group programme for schools travelling together, so the camp works equally well for an individual camper and for a class arriving from abroad.

At first, I was debating whether to come to Montreal to study because the place is mostly French and not just English. But now I can say that coming to Canada for two months without a doubt was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. The school is excellent, the teachers are great. You can really see that teachers care about your success, trying to teach you things beyond what you need to learn and I really felt at home in school. I got to know people from all over the world and experience different cultures. Highly recommend the school, I enjoyed so much and learned a lot !!! I must also thank Danning for helping me through the entire process from the moment I got physically to see the school to my last day at school - helping me with everything, being very patient and caring and making sure all my questions received full answers. Thank you, Danning, for making this process so much simpler. I was a little worried about coming all alone for 2 months, but Danning, the team of teachers and the students who studied with me relieved all my worries from the first day. Thanks for a great experience

Hi, my name is Sofia, and I'm 18 years old. I have been here for eight weeks and two months, and I'm from Mexico City. The thing I have liked the most is meeting so many people. I have made many friends from all over the world. I also love that we do activities every day. The ones I like the most were crafting and rock climbing because I challenged myself to do something I had never done before. I had so much fun with my friends, and it was really enjoyable. I also love Montpellier. It is a beautiful city, and I came here to learn French. I have learned a lot during these two months, and I hope to come back one day so I can see my friends and leaders again, who have always been really nice to me. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Daniel, and I'm 15 years old. I have been here for about six weeks to learn English and French. I come from Germany. My best experience so far was probably the Niagara Falls because I really enjoyed visiting them. I also liked the Ottawa trip. Both trips were really great during this year, and the food was fantastic. We also went to restaurants sometimes, and everyone tried new things. I particularly enjoyed the afternoon activities and weekend tours. My favorite weekend tour was probably the Niagara tour where we went to Toronto and visited the Niagara Falls. We did many activities there, including visiting the CN Tower in Toronto. I made a lot of friends during this tour, and it was an enjoyable experience.

About World Camps Trust

Screen time policy

Our curriculum is highly interactive, centering on communication, active immersion, and collaboration. Students take English or French classes in the morning and work in teams to create and present projects in the afternoon (focused on weekly themes like Art, Tech, Science, or Sports). To maximize learning, engagement, and face-to-face socialization with international peers, phone usage is restricted during active class time and scheduled project workshops.
