When the deposit is charged
Updated 9 Oct 2026
Nothing is charged when a family sends a booking request: their card is only held.
The deposit is charged once two things have happened: you have accepted the request, and the family's 24 hours of free cancellation have passed. If the camp starts within a week, there is no free-cancellation period and the deposit is charged as soon as you accept.
The rest of the price is charged automatically on the dates of your cancellation policy: each time a part of the price stops being refundable, that part is charged. For a camp without a deposit, the whole price follows these dates.
If you decline the request, or do not answer in time, the hold on the card is released and nothing is charged.
