Why the amount you receive is lower than the price

On each payment made through World Camps, our service fee is deducted before the money reaches you.
The fee is 15% of what the family pays on a Marketplace Partner plan. On a Pro or Premium plan the rate is lower; your Get paid page shows the rate that applies to you. If your company is based in Switzerland, Swiss VAT is added on the fee itself, never on the price.
Example, Swiss camp on Marketplace Partner: a family pays CHF 1,000 in total, with a 20% deposit. On the CHF 200 deposit, CHF 30 of fee and CHF 2.43 of VAT are deducted. On the CHF 800 balance, CHF 120 and CHF 9.72. You receive CHF 837.85 in all.
Every booking shows the exact figure under "You receive". There is no fee on bookings that never happen: a declined or expired request costs nothing, and if you cancel a booking the fee is returned to you with the family's refund.
