How long you have to answer a booking request

Updated 9 Oct 2026

When a family has paid with a card, you have 72 hours to accept or decline their request — less when the camp starts soon, because the deadline is always at least 24 hours before the start. The exact deadline is shown on each request.

If you need more time, you can push the deadline back once, by 24 hours, still no later than 24 hours before the start.

If you do not answer in time, the request expires on its own: the family is told, the hold on their card is released, and nothing is charged. Requests left to expire also lower your response rate, which families see.

When no card was taken — because you arrange payment with families directly — the request stays open until the session starts, and there is nothing to extend. Answer it as soon as you can: the family is waiting to know whether their child has a place.
