Overview
IH London’s Cambridge Young Learner Centre is held in the prestigious Anglia Ruskin University, located in Cambridge city centre. Only 1.5 hours from London, Cambridge is a historic city famous for its ancient university. We host one English language course at this centre, for students aged 14-17. Cambridge is a small, safe and beautiful city, full of culture and history.
Students will learn English, meet new friends from all over the world, explore London and other parts of the UK on fantastic supervised study trips, and enhance life skills such as confidence, team-working and independence. There are on-site social activities every evening and the course focuses on learning through fun, with different topics every week. Students will be looked after 24/7 by IH London on-site staff and we’ll meet them at London Heathrow airport upon arrival.

Activities
Outside of English lessons students will take part in a diverse range of games, activities and team building exercises. This is a great opportunity for students to make friends and interact with students from around the globe. As well as daily activities, students will have the opportunity to take one full day excursion outside of Cambridge per week, as well as one half day excursion every week. Excursion locations include: London, Bletchley Park and Norwich Castle.

Accommodation & facilities
Students will stay in safe and secure single en-suite bedrooms. The accommodation is located directly across the road from the campus where lessons and activities take place, and students will be escorted across the road by an adult at all times.

My favourite thing was the people. The people here were all very nice and very friendly, it was very great.
It’s been amazing to get to know people from other countries and other cultures. It’s great to have classes with international people, it’s been a really cool experience.
I really enjoy talking to new people, international kids in my summer camp. English classes here are so interesting.
