YMCA Zomerkamp is a residential tent camp that has run since 1961 in Paleispark Het Loo, an 800-hectare royal forest park in Apeldoorn. Children aged 7–13 sleep in tents of three to five for a week-long session in the summer holidays, led by volunteers. The programme features scavenger hunts, night hikes, forest games, sports, swimming, campfires and "droppings", and a partner fund covers fees for families who cannot afford them.
