Summer Camps and English Language Schools for Kids and Teens. Registered & inspected by OFSTED on Early Years & Childcare Registers. XUK is owned and run by brothers Richard and Nicholas Bernstein. XUK Residential: Our residential summer camp for children and teens age 8-17, based at the stunning Dauntsey’s School in Wiltshire. Campers can improve their English whilst choosing from the following options for their stay: XUK Activity - our summer multi-activity residential camp with activities to suit everyone XUK English - our summer language school with exceptional quality English language tuition XUK Excel - our elective activity summer camp where campers focus on one category of activity that’s chosen in advance XUK offers outstanding childcare for 8 to 17 year olds, and has something for everyone. We run for 5 weeks in the summer and campers can choose how long they want to stay with us, from 1 week all the way up to 5 weeks!

One of the things that makes XUK such a great summer camp is the great range of activities included within each week..XUK Activity provides a wide variety of activities to challenge all children at camp. Activities vary each week keeping it fresh for those who are staying for more than one week. English Language Lessons

Language lessons

At XUK English, we focus on ‘learning through doing’ and our experienced staff are passionate about delivering interesting and motivating lessons. We follow a competency-based syllabus, which reflects the Common European Framework, and encourage our teachers to use interactive activities in the classroom. Whatever their level, each child’s English is assessed on their first day. This means that they will be able to learn with others who are at a similar stage and age group. Every week teachers re-assess each child to see if they have made sufficient progress to move up to the next class. At the end of the course, every child receives a certificate and report to record their achievement. On 5 mornings of the week there are 3 hours of lessons and these are split into two 90 minute sessions with different teachers. Our lessons are delivered in modern, bright classrooms and in our outdoor areas.

We have five incredible boarding areas at XUK Our dorms come in all shapes and sizes. We have rooms that sleep one camper up to eight campers. All campers will have access to bathrooms in their corridors. Some are en suite. Dorm groups are divided by age and sex.Dorms are assigned upon arrival, your child will not get a choice of room size. Our priority is to ensure that campers are with/close by to those who are the same/similar age.

Dear Nick,

we would like to thank you for the wonderful camp the kids had last week.
They came back home and couldn’t stop telling lovely stories of interesting activities, sports, nice staff and new friends, and everything was well-organized.
They even said, “This is the best camp I ever had in my life.” (They have been to many camps every year in the Netherlands and abroad.)
Since the kids departed early last Saturday, they had no chance to thank and say goodbye to all the staff in person. Please forward our greetings to all the staff. It was an unforgettable experience for our kids. We are very grateful. Thank you. They probably will be back soon.

Hi Nick and Richard,

I just wanted to drop you and the team a line to thank you all for giving Byron and his buddies the best week ever.

They honestly had so much fun. I don’t think any of them knew quite what to expect and started off a little nervous, but by the end of the week, when we picked them up, they were buzzing with stories of what they did, the people they met, and of course your XUK team who made the whole experience what it was.

I’m so delighted to have been able to send them off on this adventure.
