Overview
TECHCAMP, is a unique summer school designed for high school students passionate about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). It offers intensive, hands-on courses with a focus on cutting-edge technologies, delivered by professors, researchers, and PhD students from Politecnico di Milano, the most important technical university in Italy.
The program is conducted entirely in English and takes place across various campuses, providing students with a rich academic and social experience.
Who Can Attend:
TECHCAMP is open to high school students who have completed at least the second year of secondary school. Some courses are available for first-year students in four-year study programs.

Dates & Pricing
The registration fee for each course is €800.00.
The fee will be paid upon registration with the Foundation, which is responsible for the administrative and organizational management of the project.
If you participate in multiple courses over multiple weekly sessions, the registration fee for each week after the first will be €720.00.
The registration fee includes:
– Access to TECHCAMP lessons (6 hours for 5 days, Monday to Friday included);
– Accident and liability insurance for TECHCAMP days during class times;
– Delivery of the certificate of participation.
The registration fee does not include:
– Food and accommodation;
– Insurance for the full refund of the registration fee;
– Everything not included in the “Registration fee includes” section.

The TECHCAMP offers a range of academic programs designed to introduce high school students to STEM disciplines through engaging and intensive courses. Below are the details of the available programs.
Available Courses:
1) Python: Learn Python programming and develop problem-solving skills to create innovative and effective digital solutions.
2) Robotics: Explore the art of intelligent motion and automation through hands-on projects and practical experimentation.
3) Mobility: Dive into race car dynamics and discover the technologies behind intelligent and autonomous vehicles.
4) Cybersecurity & Hacking : Understand ethical hacking and system security, learning how to protect digital environments from cyber threats.
5) Green Energy: Study sustainable energy solutions and explore their real-world applications.
6) Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp: Gain insights into neural networks, machine learning, and computer vision technologies.
7) Sport Engineering & Human Perfomance: Discover how engineering and technology enhance sports performance and human movement.
8) Digital Heritage Lab: Welcome to the Digital Heritage Lab, an engaging experience that bridges the gap between our rich cultural heritage and the frontiers of digital innovation.
9) Design-driven creativity with AI: Explore how a design-driven creative venture is born and how artificial intelligence can become a powerful creative ally.
10) The Mathematics of GPS: This program offers a laboratory experience that combines mathematics and programming, where participants work in groups to develop practical projects.

Schedule
A typical day at the summer camp
On Monday morning, all courses together will get a brief presentation to the camps, with an explanation of all of the logistical and organisational aspects of the week.
On the other days:
9:30 – 11:30 am, the professors will illustrate the ‘theoretical’ content necessary to carry out the hands-on tasks in the afternoon (after a general introduction to the subject of the course in the first lesson on the first day).
11:30 – 11:45 Coffee break
11:45 – 12.30 Continuation of the ‘theory’ part, also with examples.
12:30 – 13.30 Lunch break. Students can eat at the many bars and restaurants in the area.
13:30 – 16:30 Practical hands-on workshops: guided by at least two professors, the students will work in groups to perform the day’s task and put what they learned that morning into practice.
Every afternoon, the professors will dedicate time to supervising students in the preparation of a scientific presentation of their work, which will be given by each group on the last day of the week.
On Friday, the morning lesson will be devoted to working with the professors to verify the completion of the activities and presentations.
In the afternoon, the students, divided by course, will give a public presentation of the work carried out by each group, before participating collectively in the diploma awards ceremony.

The Camplus Città Studi, opened in 1999, is located in the lively district of Milan bearing the same name. It is strategically situated just 200 meters from the subway station and facing the headquarters of the Politecnico. This privileged location makes it an optimal choice for university students, especially those attending the Politecnico. Campus Bovisa is located at about 30 minutes by public transportation from Campus Città Studi, nestled in a dynamic and youthful urban area characterized by the university presence and a variety of services. This location makes the residence ideal for students seeking a lively and stimulating environment to live and study.
Campus Bovisa offers the courses of Green Energy and Race Car Dynamics.
Campus Lecco:
The Lecco Campus, through a strong synergy with the local institutions, offers a university campus spanning 47,000 m², dedicated to teaching, research, and student services. It offers modern, well-equipped classrooms designed for innovative learning, advanced research laboratories, and welcoming spaces where students can live and study within the campus.
Inspired by the Anglo-Saxon model, the campus features the “Adolf Loos” university residence, which hosts both out-of-town and international students, fostering a dynamic and inclusive academic community.
The Lecco Campus offers the Sports Engineering specialisation within the Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a program closely integrated with the cutting-edge research of the Human Performance Lab.
