Everything at Täby Ryttarcenter revolves around the horses and the riding school's own school horses, ridden under the guidance of the centre's regular, trained instructors rather than seasonal helpers. On the day camps riders are placed in groups according to experience after a trial ride on the first morning, so that each child is matched with a horse or pony that suits them, and swaps can still be made during the week if a better fit is found. The rhythm is steady and horse-centred: two ridden sessions each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, with grooming and stable care in between so children get a real taste of what it is like to look after their own horse. Younger and less experienced riders share the care of a horse in pairs and work on dressage and groundwork basics, while the training camps for more advanced riders give each participant a horse of their own and lean into jumping or an allround mix of dressage, groundwork and fences. Lunch and an afternoon snack are served in the on-site café, where ice cream and fika can also be bought. The final day is shorter, with a single riding session that becomes a display or small competition on plaited, well-groomed horses, with parents, siblings and friends warmly invited to watch. Teenagers and adults can instead join the evening riding courses, where one ridden session is followed by stable work and fika shared with the instructor, talking through the horses and the riding of the day.
