Siemens Digital Camp

The Digital Camp is STEM Academy's introduction to its Siemens Solid Edge pathway, built around a single clear idea: that children learn engineering best by designing something themselves on professional software. Sessions are hands-on and computer-based, with young designers moving from observing and questioning how things are made to sketching, modelling and building their own 3D designs. Because the programme is written in-house and structured as a progression, campers can carry on afterwards into fuller Solid Edge 3D designing courses and, eventually, certification. Parents tend to notice the effect outside the classroom, with children suddenly pointing out the structure of buildings and highways they used to drive past without a glance. It is a focused, project-led programme for children who like to make things work rather than a broad multi-activity camp.
