The nearest airport to Pueblo Español Summer Camp is Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas. Airport pickup is available upon request. All minors travelling alone to Madrid will be able to separately book a Welcome and Departure Package that includes (Check the prices of this service*): Airport/Train or Bus station pick-up and drop off by our staff Meals in Madrid Hotel in Madrid (shared double room on the night of arrival, departure, and in between programs if you are also participating in the Pueblo Ingles Volunteer Program).

The total price of 8-day Pueblo Español immersion course is €1,595 and it includes: – 8 days of full Spanish immersion- 100+ hours of contact with the language- Learn in a relaxed, non-classroom environment- Assessment level test (minimum intermediate conversation level required)- Facilitation of the program by on-site Director and Master of Ceremonies- Chaperoning of all activities and night patrol by leading camp monitors- End of course completion certificate- Full room and board (double rooms with ensuite bathroom)- Transport from and to Madrid- Local activities and excursions- Supplemental material provided- 7 nights in a beautiful hotel- Insurance coverage- Registration fee (non-refundable)

Pueblo Español shall bill for the amount above and shall maintain the following cancellation and refund policy for the payment amount: 100% refundable if cancelled before 30 days.  50% refundable if cancelled between 29-20 days. 25% refundable if cancelled between 19-15 days. 0% refundable if cancelled within 14 working days before the scheduled departure date of program. 

We have a medical coordinator in the program responsible for overseeing and addressing participants’ health needs. 
We maintain a ratio of one coordinator for every 8 to 10 participants.

PROGRAM DIRECTORLeads staff, oversees all program aspects, manages the schedule, ensures smooth operations, and addresses participants’ personal needs. It’s the person responsible for being in contact with the office.MASTER OF CEREMONIES (MC)Plans and supervises activities, motivates participants, energizes group dynamics, and assists the director.NATIVE COORDINATORSLead activities, teach workshops, promote safety, and foster Spanish immersion with enthusiasm and empathy.MEDICAL COORDINATORManages medications, monitors allergies and diets and accompanies participants to medical appointments If it is necessary.

Our programs are multicultural and inclusive, we work with different associations and NGOs such as ONCE, Orphans Association… among others.

Overview

The formal part of the program is mainly based on one to one 50-minute conversation sessions with each one of the Spanish participants. Students rotate to alternate with new conversation partners every hour. And, what will you talk about? Any topic under the sun is possible! Nevertheless, the staff guides the morning one to one sessions with practical and stimulating subjects. In the afternoons everyone takes part in group activities and different role plays. This is combined with a more relaxed environment sharing meals and social time, which are also important to improve the language and get used to the different accents. There will also be several chances to explore the surroundings and surprise activities that will be surely fun and entertaining.
