Setting

Eton College sits beside the River Thames in historic Windsor, a short walk from Windsor Castle and within easy reach of Heathrow. The campus pairs heritage architecture with modern, purpose-built sports venues—ideal for focused training, safe boarding, and inspiring daily routines.

Tennis Infrastructure

Eton offers one of the most extensive school tennis footprints in the UK, with around 50 courts across the grounds, supported by excellent outdoor surfaces and floodlighting on key pitches nearby. Training bases include the Willowbrook site, which features tennis courts, hockey surfaces, and a dedicated pavilion for team operations.

Indoor Training & Aquatics

The Sports & Aquatics Centre features a 25-metre, eight-lane indoor pool with a movable floor for varied depths, plus a four-court multi-use sports hall—perfect for performance conditioning, agility work and wet-weather scheduling. The Centre has been recognised with an RIBA South Award for design and functionality.

Wider Sports Estate

Beyond tennis, the college’s estate includes extensive playing fields, specialist racket-sport facilities (Fives, Rackets, Squash), all-weather pitches and access to Dorney Lake, Eton’s 2 km Olympic-standard rowing venue—a remarkable setting for cross-training and inspiration. The grounds also include a 9-hole golf course, used for variety of skills and recovery walks during lighter sessions.

Boarding & House Life

Campers are accommodated in Eton’s boarding settings, designed around small house communities and calm evening routines. The college’s well-established pastoral care model—led by House teams and supported by tutors—underpins a safe, respectful environment for international groups.

Health, Safety & Wellbeing

On-site healthcare is provided through the Eton College Health Centre, with doctors and qualified nursing staff. Campus security and emergency procedures are robust, with clearly mapped emergency phones and defibrillators across central areas.

Nutrition & Common Spaces

Dining is balanced for active days—wholesome meals, hydration points and supervised breaks between sessions. Common rooms and green spaces give campers quiet time to reset, connect with friends and prepare for the next block of training.

Access & Connectivity

Windsor’s compact layout keeps movements efficient: training venues, dining halls and boarding houses are within walking distance, and the riverside setting makes for restorative evening strolls after full training days.

Note: Facility access is scheduled to align with programme needs and may vary based on college operations, weather, and event calendars. Equivalent alternatives are arranged when needed to maintain session quality.
