Kollo på Barnens Ö is a classic Swedish residential summer camp ("kollo") run by Stiftelsen Barnens Dag, a foundation that has organised children's camps since 1905. The camp takes place on Barnens Ö, an island on Väddö in the Stockholm archipelago about an hour and a half from the city, where 23 separate camp farms host groups with different focuses — from theatre and film to animals and expedition life. It welcomes children in school grades 1–9 for multi-day stays built around outdoor life, swimming and communal living.
