1) INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIPS: Children from over 40 different countries enjoy the true highlight of our camp - life-long international friendships. Due to the unique welcoming environment at Explorer Camps, the small groups continually focus on forming strong bonds ensuring that ALL children feel that special Explorer spirit and friendship. 2) EMPATHETIC APPROACH: At the heart of our Explorer family is our special 'home away from home' feel which creates a truly welcoming, loving and accepting environment led by loving staff who encourage children to step outside of their comfort zones and try something new all the while being fully immersed in English. These staff led challenges ensure our campers leave better prepared for life with greater resilience, self-confidence, and increased life skills which ultimately leads to happier children. 3) OUTDOOR ELECTRONIC FREE FUN: Our electronic free outdoor adventure camp focuses on learning through the outdoors with activities including rafting, stand up paddling, paintball, on-site water park, zip lining, kayaking, archery, paragliding etc. While these activities are utilised to maximise our campers’ time in the outdoors away from their screens, they are also used as tools for our experienced staff to boost our campers’ mental health through a wide range of proactive protective factors. 4) INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION: Explorer Camps is broken up into smaller age specific groups of approximately 10 children, which empowers staff to create a truly personal, comfortable and English immersive environment that fosters togetherness and friendships. The Discoverers (6-9), Pioneers (10), Adventurers (11-12), Outlaws (13-14), Trailblazers (15), and Pathfinders (15+) all have group specific activities throughout the day that strengthens these personal bonds, and ensures a truly unforgettable experience for all of our Explorer families. 5) CHOICE: Children are able to tailor make their own experiences by creating their own daily schedules based on their individual needs, desires, strengths and interests. This ensures that they have choices about their own camp experience which builds independence, responsibility and ultimately self-satisfaction.

The Explorer day follows a clear rhythm that mixes togetherness with genuine choice. Mornings belong to the age group, where small teams of similar-aged campers take on the bigger outdoor adventures - rafting, bellyaking, hiking, biking, the Explorer Water Park and classic team building - with counsellors who plan each challenge for that stage of development, from the youngest Discoverers through Pioneers and Adventurers to the Outlaws, Trailblazers and Pathfinders of the teen years. Every afternoon the whole camp comes back on site for Afternoon Choice, a menu of more than fourteen activities split between Create & Play and Thrill & Skill, with no fixed groups so children can follow their own curiosity alone or stay alongside friends. Evenings pull everyone back together for Tribe Wars, where Red, Green and Blue tribes trade wacky daily challenges, before groups settle into Campers Corner for quieter connection games, movie nights or time in Hammock City. Learning here happens by doing and then reflecting on it, and progress is made visible through the Explorer beads system, which recognises courage, kindness and the other camper values rather than just skill. The camp is deliberately electronics-free, with children spending the great majority of their time outdoors, and two-week campers get an entirely different morning programme in their second week so nothing repeats.

The Slovenian Summer Kids camp it has been an amazing experience for our son and for us. They have given them the confidence to meet new kids, communicate in a foreign language, and get trust on themselves, and all these in a very comfortable family environment. Besides the English skills, socializing and the family feeling, which were very important for us, the way they make the kids be part of the camp, giving them the opportunity to choose and decide, were very important for our son. Next year he wants to be back.
