The EMS camp is a four-week English immersion built on a steady weekday rhythm: four hours of Intensive General English each morning and two hours of Extra Learning Activities each afternoon, Monday to Friday, with trips, sports and social evenings filling the rest of the time. Every student sits a placement test on arrival and joins one of twelve proficiency levels, so a complete beginner and a confident speaker can both be properly stretched, and progress of roughly half a level in a month is the normal expectation. Classes are small and student-centred, with several qualified native and non-native teachers attached to each group, and the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing are given equal weight alongside online interactive platforms and the centre's library and IT facilities. What makes the programme distinctive is the mix in the room: children, teenagers and young adults from more than thirty nationalities, which means English is the only shared language during lessons, at lunch and on the weekend excursions to Batu Caves, Sunway Lagoon, Port Dickson and Langkawi. Mid-term and final assessments track progress, and every student finishes with a certificate of completion presented at the graduation ceremony. Monthly intakes in the summer and a two- or four-week winter option let families choose how long their child stays.

It is the best language center I have ever been to. To my experience, you are led, nurtured and tutored the way that helps you overcome any difficulties you would face for leaning English. Highly recommended

lunch
Daily lunch provided for the 30 days of the programme.
Lunch is provided every day of the programme, thirty days in all, so your child eats a proper midday meal between the morning English class and the afternoon learning activities. Dinner is not part of the standard package but can be added for the full thirty days at extra cost, and the weekend trip to Port Dickson comes with meals included as part of the resort stay. The camp closes with a graduation ceremony and farewell dinner. Because the residences have fully equipped kitchens and the KLCC neighbourhood is full of cafés, supermarkets and restaurants, older students can also easily prepare or buy their own breakfast and evening meals.

The camp runs from the EMS Language Centre itself, on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, within a few minutes' walk of KLCC, the Petronas Twin Towers and the Malaysia Tourism Centre. Lessons take place in modern, air-conditioned classrooms designed for small groups and plenty of interaction, backed up by a language lab, a library and IT facilities that students use for their online English platforms, plus an events hall where culture nights and the graduation ceremony are held and a prayer room. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the centre. Students on the residential packages live in serviced apartments in the same KLCC neighbourhood, roughly a fifteen-minute walk from class, in towers with a swimming pool, a gymnasium, access-card entry, CCTV and 24-hour security. Cafés, malls, supermarkets and public transport are all on the doorstep, which makes the everyday practice of English part of city life rather than something confined to the classroom.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport
Pickup service · Most camp families fly into Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and an EMS representative meets students in the terminal and helps them through immigration clearance before driving them to their accommodation. Pickups are arranged during office hours only, between 9am and 6pm Malaysian time, so flights should be timed accordingly, and flight details must be sent at least two weeks ahead so the transfer and apartment check-in can be organised; accommodation check-in runs from 8am to 9pm. Two-way airport transfer is included in selected camp packages; otherwise the service is charged at USD 100 per pickup. If you would prefer someone other than EMS to collect your child, this has to be requested in advance.
