Residential camp in Navan Road, Ireland
The Emerald Explorer is run from Eureka House in Kells for young people aged 8 to 16 who join the camp each day and go home at night. Campers follow the same rhythm as their residential friends: English lessons in the morning, shared lunch and conversation at midday, then afternoons given over to adventure challenges, team sport, creative workshops or a cultural trip. The idea behind it all is that English is lived rather than only taught, so children use the language naturally while making friends with campers from Ireland and around the world. The camp day is deliberately screen-free, which keeps everyone talking, playing and taking part, and supervision sits at a typical 1:8 camper-to-staff ratio with Garda-vetted, first-aid trained team members on site. Lunch and snacks are included, and the whole experience unfolds in six acres of private parkland around a historic house, 45 minutes from Dublin Airport.
