Our Health Centre operates as a primary care clinic for the camp. Our medical team (including one full-time physician and five full-time nurses) has access to every camper’s health record and is trained and equipped to deal with any health issue. The Health is fully stocked with medical supplies to aid with everything from minor abrasions to more serious conditions. We have a defibrillator on site. If our medical staff feels that a camper needs treatment that we are unable to provide, we have excellent medical facilities just 12 minutes away in Haliburton. All of our Doctors have special privileges at Haliburton Hospital to eliminate wait time in case of emergency. We also have a local dentist available if necessary.

Camp Timberlane kept my kids active, encouraged creativity, and allowed them the opportunity to perform infront of the entire camp. They returned home so confident and self assured. They came home counting down the days until they can retun to camp.
Camp Timberlane promotes independence and resilience, as my children were given the chance to navigate new environments and situations without the immediate presence of their parents. My childen learned to depend on their friends and staff to grow and have a blast.
Camp Timberlane offered structured activities and challenges that required my child to work together with their cabin group, think critically, and make informed decisions. The staff were always there to assist and support 24/7.
One of the primary benefits of sending my children to Camp Timberlane was the opportunity for them to develop essential life skills. This includes leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. My children came home changed for the better.
Camp Timberlane was able to foster positive social interactions and the development of friendships for my children. My children were exposed to a diverse group of peers, helping them learn how to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and build relationships.
