Located on 200 acres in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains and just 90 minutes away from New York and Philadelphia, Lindenmere is a private, coed sleepaway camp, which is 100% family-owned with a long, rich history. Our All-Choice Program, equipped with over 50+ activities will allow for your camper to choose the activities they want to do, while also trying new activities each day.

Our facilities have been fully renovated, and all bunks and buildings on camp have central air conditioning to allow for campers and staff to enjoy camp in a comfortable manner.

It’s all about choice. Your choice! TOTAL CHOICE! Lindenmere’s program is on the cutting edge of summer camping. Campers work with their counselors and specialty staff to select the activities they want and love. With Lindenmere’s focus on choice, campers have an opportunity to explore in-depth the activities they feel they will enjoy and participate alongside campers with similar interests. This makes each and every day challenging, unique and fun.
Lindenmere campers choose all of their activities.
Campers choose both Majors and Minors to construct their perfect day. With over 50+ activities to choose from and a team of dedicated specialty staff, we ensure the success and growth of all campers.
In a traditional camping setting, campers often participate in pre-selected activities with just the kids in their bunk. By choosing their own activities, campers quickly meet many other campers that share similar interests, while also forming strong bonds with their bunkmates. This helps our campers develop higher numbers of friendships and creates a strong atmosphere of community.
Our counselors are equally invested in our All-Choice program. They know that each camper has chosen to be in their activity area, and our counselors enjoy teaching campers who are looking to achieve their goals, and mentor them in their respective activities throughout their time at camp.
Activities include but are not limited to:
- Waterfront (Lake and Pool)
- Athletics (Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Football, Baseball, Fitness, Strength Training, golf, Volleyball, etc)
- Creative Arts (Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Woodworking, Jewelry, Cosmetology, etc)
- Innovation (3D Printing, Robotics, Stop Motionimation, Rocketry)
- Media (Website Design, Digital Photography, Videography, Newspaper, Podcasting)
- Performing Arts (Theater, Rock Shop, DJ, etc)
Accommodation & facilities
Our cabins are designed to have a rustic, mountainous appeal from the outside with modern, comfortable amenities on the inside, including air conditioning. The air conditioning has been so important in making sure our campers and staff stay happy and well-rested! Each cabin is divided into two bunks that each hold 12-15 campers and 3-4 staff. Campers will be put in a bunk prior to camp by our team based on age, and then interests.

There could not be a more supportive, honest and passionate team than those who make Camp Lindenmere home away from home for so many children. My son made friendships special beyond belief, bonded with staff in ways I’d never have imagined and was given the chance to chose activities where he could thrive and be happy every day. My daughter has been a Lindenmere camper for the past six years, and she has loved every summer and can’t wait for the summer of 2024! The programs and activities are terrific and has something for everyone to do.
