Overview
We have been offering German and English language teaching and multi- activity summer camps since 2006. Our all-inclusive program provides a unique experience for children aged 8-15 years from around the world. Language lessons, in German and English, are combined with a wide range of exciting and inspiring outdoor activities, adventures, athletic programs, excursions, and creative and cultural immersion. In order to keep the family atmosphere that our camp is known for, the camp is kept intentionally small, with no more than 35 participants per week. The camper to counselor ratio of 5:1 allows us to adapt to each child’s individual needs. We attach great importance to each child’s care. Our unpretentious, family-like atmosphere has always been much appreciated by our families and visitors and is an important characteristic of our camp’s identity. Our goal is to provide children with top quality language lessons and diverse activities for a fulfilling summer experience, and to offer an outstanding service for both children and parents.

Activities
Our afternoon activities provide further opportunities for children to develop their language skills and to apply what is learned in class to everyday situations as well as numerous leisure activities during the camp day. Choose thrilling outdoor adventures and sporty tennis sessions as your weekly afternoon program. OUTDOORS: action-packed activities and adventures The outdoors offers a daily changing program of action-packed activities and sports, fun mountain adventures and excursions to cultural sights. Challenging team competitions help to build team spirit and enhance the language learning experience. A sneak peek of what awaits you in our fun outdoor program: camp olympics, treasure hunts, team competitions, relay races, hiking, high ropes course, rock climbing, campfire, orienteering, archery, survival day, soccer, swimming, table tennis, volleyball, creative workshops, sightseeing, cultural immersion and much more. TENNIS: Our tennis program offers lessons with highly qualified coaches, suitable for all skill levels. Participants will improve their technique and on-court skills while enjoying a variety of leisure activities at camp. Elevate your game this summer and have fun on and off the court!
Academics
Language immersion in German and English for all abilities – from beginners to advanced.
Language lessons
Each weekday morning, our campers dive into the world of languages with engaging and interactive German and English lessons. Campers enjoy three hours a day of excellent academic teaching led by our experienced teachers. All our teachers are passionate, year-round teachers and have the passion that is needed for a successful language program. They are experienced in working with international children of all ages and teaching them new language skills. Our immersive language sessions are designed to acquire and to improve fundamental skills in communication, listening, vocabulary, reading and grammar, and enhance the language learning experience. Our class sizes are intentionally small (max 7 children per group) allowing each child to receive the personal attention that so important for a successful language program. This allows us to cater to each child’s individual needs and abilities. At the end of camp, the campers and their parents receive a report detailing strengths, progress, and suggestions for areas to work on in their further language development.

Accommodation & facilities
The camp includes full board accommodation, provided in a lovely traditional Tyrolean farmhouse. Your children will be accommodated in 3-6 shared bedrooms with shared bathrooms. Children will have breakfast, lunch, and dinner together with the family and the camp staff. Nutrition: We serve home-cooked meals only. All meals are freshly prepared daily. Vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free, and other special dietary restrictions can be catered too. LOCATIONAuersperg-International Summer Camp is held in a genuine Tyrolean farmhouse. It is situated in the idyllic plateau of “Wildschönau”, surrounded by the magnificent scenery of the Kitzbüheler Alps Mountain range. Its rural location offers the perfect setting for a holiday speeded in language learning and is the ideal starting point for a wide range of action-packed outdoor activities and fun adventures. The camp is easy to reach - located only an hour east from the city of Innsbruck and 45 minutes from the renowned village of Kitzbühel. Location
The nearest airport to Auersperg-International Summer Camp is Innsbruck: 1 hour, Munich: 1,5 hours, Salzburg: 2 hours, Vienna: 3 hours. Airport pickup is available upon request. We offer an accompanied transfer service to and from Vienna Airport, Vienna Main Station, Salzburg Main Station, and Innsbruck Main Station, available for an additional charge. On departure day, children will be accmpanied to the airport, and our staff will assist with the check-in procedures.

Directors: Sofia and Nico Auersperg, the owners of Auersperg-International Summer Camp, are present at the camp at all times to ensure smooth operations and personal oversight. Camp Leader: Oversees the implementation of all organizational processes, schedules, and guidelines at the camp. This role includes planning, executing, and supervising the camp’s programs and activities. Activity Coordinator: Organizes and manages the outdoor program as well as all leisure activities, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for campers. Camp Counselor: Supports the Activity Coordinator in planning and leading activities while also providing general supervision and care for the campers.
Camp Leader: Degree in camp management and education.Extensive experience in managing camps or youth programs.Ability to handle logistical planning and coordinate staff.Native or equivalent in German and/or English. Activity Coordinator: Previous experience leading outdoor activities for children. Qualifications in outdoor leadership, adventure programming, or physical education. Certifications in specific activities such as hiking, climbing, or swimming.Native or equivalent in German and/or English. Teachers: Native or equivalent in the language being taught. Degree, certification or equivalent in teaching German or English as a second language. Prior teaching experience, preferably with children.Familiarity with interactive and immersive language teaching methods. Ability to integrate language learning with creative activities and games.
