Founded in 1996, Alpadia Language Schools offers premier language education for international students seeking to learn French, English, or German. Our immersive summer camps in Leysin provide a unique opportunity to learn in the picturesque Swiss Alps. Our varied activity programme includes sports, cultural excursions, adventurous outings, creative fun and more. Discover all the exciting things you can do both in the mountains and down by the lakeside in spring, summer or autumn.
Here’s a compilation of the activities available for students during the summer camp in Leysin:
1. Creative workshops or sports in the afternoon and torch walk for juniors or casino night for teens in the evening.
2. Sports in the afternoon and talent show or fashion show in the evening.
3. Trips to Vallorbe Caves or salt mines of Bex or Aigle adventure park in the afternoon and fashion or talent show in the evening.
4. Sports in the afternoon and BBQ on the mountains in the evening.
5. Hike in the afternoon and karaoke or disco in the evening.
6. Trips to Chateau de Chillon, Montreux, Vevey, Lausanne, Chocolate Factory Caillers, and many more.
Additionally, there are exclusive activities available for an extra fee:
1. Adrenalin: Mountain biking or ‘dirty scooting’ down the mountain with an instructor or racing down a 3000m high Alpine glacier on a toboggan. Suitable for ages 13 years and over.
2. Horse Riding: Spend afternoons trotting, cantering, or galloping around the paddock or throughout the grounds on horseback.
3. Tennis: Learn practical and theoretical techniques to improve your tennis game under the guidance of an experienced coach.
These activities offer a mix of sports, cultural exploration, and adventurous outings for students to enjoy during their time at the Leysin summer camp.
