Our facilities have been fully renovated, and all bunks and buildings on camp have central air conditioning to allow for campers and staff to enjoy camp in a comfortable manner.
However, when you choose to send your camper to Lindenmere, you are choosing more than a camp with a great program and facilities; you are choosing a second home where your child will make life-long friends and will develop important life skills including: caring, independence and self-esteem.

Accommodation
Our cabins are designed to have a rustic, mountainous appeal from the outside with modern, comfortable amenities on the inside, including air conditioning. The air conditioning has been so important in making sure our campers and staff stay happy and well-rested! Each cabin is divided into two bunks that each hold 12-15 campers and 3-4 staff. Campers will be put in a bunk prior to camp by our team based on age, and then interests.

It’s all about choice. Your choice! TOTAL CHOICE! Lindenmere’s program is on the cutting edge of summer camping. Campers work with their counselors and specialty staff to select the activities they want and love. With Lindenmere’s focus on choice, campers have an opportunity to explore in-depth the activities they feel they will enjoy and participate alongside campers with similar interests. This makes each and every day challenging, unique and fun.
Lindenmere campers choose all of their activities.
Campers choose both Majors and Minors to construct their perfect day. With over 50+ activities to choose from and a team of dedicated specialty staff, we ensure the success and growth of all campers.
In a traditional camping setting, campers often participate in pre-selected activities with just the kids in their bunk. By choosing their own activities, campers quickly meet many other campers that share similar interests, while also forming strong bonds with their bunkmates. This helps our campers develop higher numbers of friendships and creates a strong atmosphere of community.
Our counselors are equally invested in our All-Choice program. They know that each camper has chosen to be in their activity area, and our counselors enjoy teaching campers who are looking to achieve their goals, and mentor them in their respective activities throughout their time at camp.
Activities include but are not limited to:
- Waterfront (Lake and Pool)
- Athletics (Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Football, Baseball, Fitness, Strength Training, golf, Volleyball, etc)
- Creative Arts (Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Woodworking, Jewelry, Cosmetology, etc)
- Innovation (3D Printing, Robotics, Stop Motion/Animation, Rocketry)
- Media (Website Design, Digital Photography, Videography, Newspaper, Podcasting)
- Performing Arts (Theater, Rock Shop, DJ, etc)

Your camper’s safety is our top priority. We have a full time, caring medical team consisting of five nurses and one doctor. Our medical team lives on camp 24/7 in our brand new Health Center.

My teen daughter loves Camp Lindenmere and looks forward to the following summer all throughout the school year. The grounds and facilities are top notch. The programs and activities are terrific and has something for everyone to do. The owners and staff are caring leaders who successfully achieve their goal to make sure all the campers are safe and happy. The culture is fantastic and results in an environment where my daughter would attend all year long if it was feasible.
My son has spent the last 2 summers at Camp Lindenmere. He’s done 4 week sessions and next summer will spend 7 weeks there, at his request. The camp is gorgeous and offers a wide variety of activities. Being a choice camp, the kids are able to decide which activities they want to participate in. Would definitely recommend this camp to anyone looking for a great overnight camp experience!
My daughter has been a Lindenmere camper for the past six years, and she has loved every summer and can’t wait for the summer of 2024! She has made incredible friendships and enjoyed so many activities and trips, and she’s become much more mature and self-confident since living at her “summer home.” Lindenmere is a very special place, and we are so grateful we’re part of the Lindenmere family.
There could not be a more supportive, honest and passionate team than those who make Camp Lindenmere home away from home for so many children. My son made friendships special beyond belief, bonded with staff in ways I’d never have imagined and was given the chance to chose activities where he could thrive and be happy every day. Camp Lindenmere is a very special place. This will be summer number 4 for our boys at camp and they can’t wait to return. Lindenmere offers something for everyone. My older son (age 11) is not into sports. Instead, he has participated in everything from 3D printing and STEAM to Rock Shop (playing 2 different instruments in a band) to building sets for the theater productions. My other son (age 9) only wants to play sports. Everything from ultimate frisbee and hockey to scaling the walls on the ropes course. Camp Lindenmere offers the best of both worlds and allows my boys to participate in the activities of their choice with kids who have similar interests as them. The daily blogs from Mitch, (the owner), update us with everything going on so we stay in the know. Communication with Kyle, (owner/director) has always been top notch. They try to create a positive, nurturing environment where the kids can be themselves. We can’t wait for next summer!
