Wellington Riding

The week is built around one simple idea: your child adopts a pony and looks after it, rides it and progresses with it from the first morning to the last. Every rider is graded on the centre's EC Pro system before they arrive, so camps are grouped by ability and each child works at a level that stretches them without overwhelming them. Days move between arena work and yard time — flatwork and jumping sessions with the coaches, then grooming and pony care, with ride outs across the Hampshire estate to break up the routine. Camps run for ages seven to sixteen, and can be taken as a day camp or as a holiday, so families can choose how much independence suits their child. What distinguishes the programme is that it sits inside a full working equestrian centre rather than a general activity camp, so children are surrounded by serious horsemanship all week.
