Hospital 15 minutes away.
One of the teachers at Teen Camp is the head teacher.
He or she is responsible for situations regarding the students, teachers and the execution of the programme during the camp period.
The castle has its own crew and is responsible for housekeeping, food and drinks and security.
If situations arise, they are resolved by the staff of Teen Camp and the staff of the castle.
In case of a serious problem, Teen Camp management comes to the castle and will take over the situation.
Our teachers ensure that the camp programme continues for the participants.
Management is almost 24/7 available by phone for both the head teacher and the parents/family members of participants.
All teachers and counsellors ar enthusiastic, helpful, kind, energetic and above all happy to teach the teenagers
At Teen Camp we have our best and highest qualified teachers from the entire Summer Camp staff.
The staff is an international team of experienced teachers and camp counsellors.
All teachers and counsellors have also had a training at the ProEnglish Academy.
In addition to screenings and interviews, the Teen Camp staff also had a multi-day internal training at the Pro English Academy.
During these moments we have a closer look on our staff and see how they deal with situations.
This training also includes a first aid programme
All teachers and counsellors must submit a Certificate of Good Conduct. They must also sign the privacy policy and security regulations.
In addition to screenings and interviews, the Teen Camp staff also had a multi-day internal training at the Pro English Academy.
By the end of every camp week management checks in and evaluates the week with the counselors, teachers and castle staff.
Everybody is welcome at Teen Camp.
Whatever the religion, social background, nationality, skin color or gender.
Everyone should feel free to be the one he/she wants to be.
But within certain limits: MUTUAL RESPECT is written with capitals.
We have just two types of rooms: for boys and for girls.
The original biological gender is used for placements in the rooms.
If this is a problem, one can contact managerment.

Mobile phones + chargers can be brought to the camp.
During the class days, Monday to Friday, the phones are kept by our staff. During this time, they are charged
Every day, participants have 45 minutes to use their phones. This is usually after lunch time.
This allows them to message friends, update social media and call parents.
During the weekend, participants have their phones at their disposal the entire time.

My daughter Elif (14y) and my cousin Deniz (13y) had so much fun at Teen Camp. So good to see children from all around the world together at a beautiful place in Holland. It has been a great experience for them to be together with different cultures and nationalities. We are very grateful to the staff. The good lessons in the mornings and the lovely caring guidance during the rest of the day (and sometimes nights as well….) Great job!
I went to Teen Camp for two weeks in August. It was super fun. The lessons in the mornings were sometimes difficult, but that really improved my English. The activities after lunch were always so much fun. I will never forget the afternoons on the beach, blow carting is sensational. Food at the castle is also great. I’ll be back in summer 2020, together with my friend.
Our children Thomas (14) and Celina (12) had a wonderful time at Teen Camp. They for two weeks at Assumburg Castle. This beautiful place was an experience itself. Besides tje improvements of their English language skills, we were really impressed by the solidarity that was created in just two weeks. Even now, 4 months later, they are still in contact with the other participants. Thank you Teen Camp Staff!
