  1. Before going, my 12-year-old son said he would call us three times a day, but he ended up forgetting to call on some days because he was having so much fun. He especially enjoyed activities amidst Switzerland’s beautiful nature, made lasting friendships, and learned about the local culture, all within a safe environment. The hours of German language class during the camp were optimal, providing a perfect balance with other activities. The registration and planning process was smooth, with great attention to detail, making it stress-free for us as parents. It was a memorable experience he will never forget. Highly recommended for any parent considering a well-rounded camp for their child!

). In due settimane è possibile allargare i propri orizzonti. Nostra figlia è tuttora in contatto con amici conosciuti a Disentis, che vivono oltre Oceano. Sicuramente un’esperienza da consigliare a tutti.

  3. This past July, my son attended a camp organized by his school. He said that the two weeks flew by because he had so much fun and enjoyed all the activities. He also felt safe and comfortable throughout the camp.

Health and Safety Measures at Our Camps The health and safety of our summer/winter camp students is our top priority. We understand the importance of providing a secure, supportive environment where campers can thrive and enjoy their summer/winter camp experience. To ensure this, we have implemented the following comprehensive health and safety measures: Robust Health Protocols: A medical team is on-site (City Campus) and available to address any health concerns. We have protocols in place for managing illnesses or injuries, ensuring that students receive prompt medical attention when needed. Emergency Preparedness: We have an emergency action plan to ensure that all staff and students are prepared in the event of an emergency. Safe and Secure Facilities: Our campuses are equipped with modern, well-maintained facilities that prioritize student safety. Secure access controls, surveillance systems, and supervised areas ensure a safe environment for all campers. Hygiene and Cleanliness: We maintain rigorous cleaning and hygiene protocols across all facilities, including classrooms, boarding houses, and dining areas. We encourage regular handwashing among all students. Nutritional Considerations: We provide balanced, nutritious meals that cater to various dietary needs and preferences. Our dining services ensure that all food is prepared safely and in accordance with health regulations. Trained and Caring Staff: Our dedicated camp leaders and educators foster a positive, nurturing environment while maintaining vigilant supervision to ensure students’ well-being at all times. Transportation Safety: All transportation for off-campus activities is managed by licensed and insured providers, with safety protocols in place to guarantee the security of our students during outings. Open Communication: We believe in fostering a transparent and communicative environment. Parents and guardians are kept informed about health and safety protocols, and we encourage open dialogue regarding any specific concerns or special needs. By prioritizing health and safety, we aim to create a nurturing and secure environment where campers can focus on learning, making new friends, and creating unforgettable summer/winter memories. We are committed to providing a safe and enriching experience for every student at our camps.

Leadership and Supervision Structure
At our summer and camps, effective leadership and supervision are foundational to creating a safe and enriching environment for all campers. Our leadership team comprises experienced professionals passionate about youth development, including a Camp Director who oversees all operations, program development, and staff training.
Each program area, such as language lessons, sports, and outdoor activities, is managed by experienced coordinators who ensure that activities are engaging and educational. Staff members are carefully selected and have been trained in child development, safety procedures, and emergency response, with a strong emphasis on fostering teamwork and a positive camp culture.
Additionally, we maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring individual attention and support for each child. Regular communication between camp leaders, staff, and parents is prioritized to create a collaborative and transparent environment where everyone can thrive.

Staff Qualifications
Our summer/winter camp is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for all campers, which is why we prioritize hiring qualified and dedicated staff. All camp staff members must possess a strong background in working with children, either through academic credentials in education, psychology, or related fields, or through prior experience in camps, childcare, or youth programs.
We seek individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, with a passion for fostering personal growth and creativity in campers. Background checks and reference checks are conducted for all staff to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers making our camp a place where children can learn, explore, and thrive.

Yes, see previous section on Staff Qualifications.

By selecting trained and experienced professionals, we focus on delivering a high-quality camp experience without the need for extensive in-house training.

Diversity and Inclusion
We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity in all its forms. Our camp actively promotes a culture of respect and understanding, ensuring that every camper feels valued and welcomed. We embrace a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and abilities, and our programming reflects this commitment by integrating activities that honor different perspectives and traditions.
Staff members are trained to recognize and address the unique needs of each camper, promoting an atmosphere where everyone can thrive. We believe that our differences enrich the camp experience and create lasting bonds among campers and staff.

Code of Conduct and Safety Protocols
At our summer and winter camps, we maintain a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of all campers and staff. Our Code of Conduct outlines the expected behaviours for everyone involved in our camp community, fostering an environment of respect, kindness, and inclusivity. Key principles include:
Respect for Others:
Campers and staff are expected to treat each other with kindness and consideration, promoting a positive camp atmosphere.
Zero Tolerance for Bullying:
We do not tolerate any form of bullying or harassment. Incidents will be addressed promptly and effectively.
Inclusiveness:
All campers and staff should feel welcome and valued, regardless of their background or abilities.
To ensure safety, we have implemented comprehensive safety protocols, including:
Health and Safety Guidelines:
We follow strict health guidelines, including protocols for illness prevention and management, and safety drills.
Supervision:
Campers are supervised at all times, with appropriate staff-to-camper ratios to ensure individual attention and safety.
Emergency Procedures:
Clear protocols are in place for emergencies, including evacuation plans and communication strategies for both campers and parents. We believe that a strong Code of Conduct, coupled with thorough safety protocols, creates a secure and enjoyable environment for all campers.

Mobile Phone Policy
At our summer & winter camps, we prioritize creating an immersive and engaging experience for all campers. To foster meaningful connections and encourage participation in camp activities, we have a structured mobile phone policy:
Limited Use:
Mobile phones must be kept in a designated area during language lessons and overnight and may only be used during specific times outlined by the camp schedule, such as designated “phone time” to connect with family.
Communication with Parents:
We understand that parents may want to stay in touch with their children. To facilitate this, we have established communication channels that allow for regular updates from camp staff to parents, as well as scheduled times when campers can check in with their families.
Encouraging Engagement:
By limiting phone use, we encourage campers to engage fully with their peers and participate in the activities without distractions. This approach helps campers form lasting friendships and fully immerse themselves in the camp experience.
Respecting Privacy:
While we encourage campers to take pictures to capture their memories, we ask that they respect the privacy of others and adhere to camp guidelines regarding photography.
We believe that minimizing mobile phone usage enhances the overall camp experience and allows campers to make the most of their time away from home.
