Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich – Winter & Summer Camps

SUMMER CAMPS: SWITZERLAND IN ALL ITS COLOURS

Mountains, cities, rivers and lakes – the Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich have a lot to offer young people from all over the world during the summer holidays. Our holiday camps last two weeks, one week in Disentis and one week in Winterthur/Zurich. The young people aged between 13 and 15 have a daily structure that gives them enough freedom to pursue their own interests and spend time with like-minded people. They have German or English language lessons in the mornings, and in the afternoons, we offer various activities and excursions. For example, the summer programme in the mountains includes hiking, mountain biking and climbing. The Grisons Alps offer variety, fun and action. In the city, a range of sports are available: football, handball, floorball, mountain/cross-country biking and much more. There is also a wide range of art and culture on offer. Participants are accommodated in the Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich boarding houses. Supervision and all meals are included in the price. Numbers are limited per nationality per camp to make for a truly diverse international experience.

WINTER CAMPS

Our winter camps take place in January and February. Young people from all over the world can experience both the alpine and the urban winter. During 10 days in Disentis and Winterthur/Zurich (7 days in the mountains, 3 days in the city), the 14 to 16-year-old have a daily structure that gives them enough freedom to pursue their own interests and spend time with like-minded people. At the Mountain Campus, skiing, snowboarding, sledding or cross-country skiing are on the programme in the afternoon, while language skills in German or English are improved in the morning. At the City Campus, the morning is also spent improving language skills in German or English. The afternoon is filled with sports activities (e.g. indoor football, handball, floorball), art and culture. Participants are accommodated in the boarding houses of the Swiss Boarding Schools Disentis & Zurich. Supervision and all meals are included in the price.
