Malvern College Summer School offers 6 exciting modules: Outdoor Pursuits, Performing Arts, Sport, STEM, English as an Additional language (EAL) and Creative Arts. Outdoor Pursuits provides opportunities for rock climbing, mountain biking, paddleboarding, hiking, and camp craft. Performing Arts focuses on musical theatre, drama, acting, and dance, culminating in a weekly group performance. Sport offers coaching in basketball, football, tennis, and badminton, emphasizing skill development and teamwork. Our STEM module offers exciting projects in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. EAL offers practical, project-based learning for every ability, from beginner to advanced. Creative Arts explores ceramics, woodwork, screen printing and drawing, allowing students to experiment with different artistic mediums.

Lessons are taught be Malvern College’s own experienced, passionate teachers. lessons go far beyond grammar and textbooks – they are engaging, practical, and project-based, so your child learns by doing and discovering. Our immersive approach builds confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing, while making lessons enjoyable and meaningful. Our course is Quality English accredited and involves a first-day assessment to ensure students are placed in classes with others at a similar level.

Accommodation & facilities

One of the best parts of summer school is having a taste of English boarding school life. Accommodation is a mix of singles, twins and small dormitories in our traditional houses, with shared bathrooms facilities and inviting shared common rooms. Boarding houses are divided into Senior Boys, Senior Girls, Junior Boys and Junior Girls (12 and under), and each is led by an experienced houseparent. Our exceptional pastoral team will be with your child every step of the way, and are focused on them departing with lifelong memories.

Fees per week including VAT: £2195   /   Deposit: £500 due on registration    /   Balance: £1,695 due no later than 6 weeks before start date. Fees includes: tuition, accommodation, meals, activities, excursions, transfers from Birmingham International or London Heathrow Airports.

Location

The nearest airport to Malvern College Summer School is Birmingham. Airport pickup is available upon request. We provide a meet and greet service with transfers to and from London Heathrow and Birmingham Airports, on arrivals and departures days, for flights between 0900 and 1800. Transfers outside of these times, from other airports, and Unaccompanied Minor bookings are available at additional cost.
