概要
キャンプ愛好家が 110 年以上にわたってキャンプ キングスウッドを本拠地と呼んでいるのには十分な理由があります。私たちはサマープログラムというよりは家族のようなキャンプです。一度に参加するキャンパーは 250 人以下なので、夕食後に 9 歳と 13 歳の子供が一緒に 9 スクエアで遊んでいるのを見かけることや、チャルツィムの最年長キャンパーのカウンセラーが若いオリムのキャンパー全員の名前を知っていることは珍しいことではありません。これにより、キャンプ参加者が毎日、セッション中ずっと、見られ、つながっていると感じる環境が生まれます。キャンパーが本当に活躍できるのはこのときです！子どもたちは、安全、見られている、つながっていると感じると、新しい友達に会うためでも、新しいアクティビティに挑戦するためでも、積極的に自分を外に出してみようとします。
私たちは家族が世界中から集まってきて、現実的で楽しいことをとても気に入っています。また、キャンプで私たちがその価値観を共有していることを家族も喜んでいます。私たちは保護者が私たちのパートナーであると信じており、その責任を真剣に受け止めています。お子様がキャンプに参加する際は、ご家族全員をキングスウッド ファミリーに温かく歓迎いたします。

Camp Kingswood sits on the pristine and private cove of Woods Pond, a quiet, nearly 500-acre lake that provides our campers limitless water access all summer long. With 1000 feet of shoreline, our waterfront is a unique and breathtaking feature of Camp Kingswood, providing a magical backdrop right in the center of camp. Water activities include: waterskiing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, wakeboarding, tubing, fishing, and more!
In addition to water sports, Kingswood has an expansive land sports program. including basketball, soccer, baseball, tennis, archery, lacrosse, martial arts, gymnastics, and dance.
Our community is rooted in music and creativity, so our arts program is just as strong! At Kingswood, campers can create traditional and specialized crafts, dabble in wood shop and even learn how to play their favorite songs as part of a rock band! Each session campers can choose to be in the camp play, and whether they want to be on stage, making sets, helping to choreograph, or designing costumes, there’s a role for everyone.
From climbing our ropes course to hiking along Maine’s roaring rivers and pristine lakes, campers discover a love of nature and develop the skills to explore the great outdoors for the rest of their lives! In addition to outdoor training, our staff incorporates important team-building exercises throughout each activity that facilitates friendship and leadership development within Kingswood and beyond.

私たちの広々として手入れの行き届いたキャビンには、10 ～ 12 人のキャンプ参加者とそれぞれ 3 ～ 4 人の寝台スタッフが住んでいます。全員がシングル ベッドで 1 つのリビング スペースを共有しており、独立したスタッフの宿舎はありません。キャンプ参加者と一緒に暮らすことで、スタッフはキャンプ参加者の生活にどっぷりと浸ることができ、カウンセラーはキャンプ参加者と一緒以外の場所にいないことを知っています。キャンパーはそれぞれ自分の収納スペースを持っており、カウンセラーは若いキャンパーが荷物を開梱し、スペースを整理整頓する方法を学ぶのを手伝います。ほとんどのキャビンには二段ベッドにバスルームがあり、一部のキャビンにはシャワーも付いています。専用の大きなシャワーと共用バスルームを備えたシャワーハウスが、すべての寝台から歩いてすぐのところにあります。私たちの寝台にはすべてポーチがあり、たむろしたり親睦を深めたりするための屋内スペースがたくさんあります。

Тhank you so much for creating an amazing experience for Ian! He has been singing Israeli songs all day since getting home… telling us stories, and he is so excited. He admitted, “it took [a few] days to figure out this whole no parents thing, but once I did, it was great.” Thank you for your attentive and patient demeanor while we followed up with inquiries…I’m so glad that I picked Kingswood and your team to take care of Ian for the last 3 weeks!
