Pok-O-MacCready Camps has been run continuously by the Robinson/Swan family for 121 years, since Dr. Charles Robinson founded the original boys' camp in 1905, with descendants still on the family board and in the cabins today. Camp MacCready was added in 1967 and a year-round outdoor education centre followed in 1974, giving the present name. The leadership team is made up of long-tenured educators, counsellors and nurses, many of them former campers, including an executive director with more than two decades at camp.
