Acampamento Terra do Sol has been running holiday camps for children and teenagers since 1951, on a countryside site in Monte Alegre do Sul with departures from São Paulo. Its team is drawn largely from former campers: recreational coordination is led by Tio Manolo, with more than thirty years as a recreation leader, Tia Gabi selects the monitors and oversees the infirmary and camper care, and Tio Toninho is responsible for general supervision of the site, its structure and safety, while the kitchen team has been with the camp for over fifteen years. The camp is a member of ABAE, the Brazilian Association of Educational Camps.
