Our Summer Camps in Gran Canaria and Tenerife offer an exceptional combination of language learning, cultural immersion, and outdoor adventure in two of the most attractive destinations in Spain. Students can choose the island that best suits their preferences, as both programs provide equally enriching and high-quality experiences.
Designed for students aged 12 to 18, the camps follow a communicative and practical methodology based on the CEFR framework. Participants attend 20 lessons per week in English or Spanish, taught by qualified native teachers, in small international groups that encourage interaction and confidence in real-life communication.
Beyond the classroom, students enjoy a full program of cultural visits, sports, and excursions. In Gran Canaria, activities include city tours, surfing, visits to iconic locations such as Maspalomas and Mogán, and a vibrant urban experience in Las Palmas. In Tenerife, students explore stunning natural landscapes such as Teide National Park, enjoy famous beaches, and take part in unique activities like Siam Park and cultural city visits.
Both camps include full-board accommodation in carefully selected hotels, airport transfers, and a wide range of supervised activities, ensuring a safe, dynamic, and international environment.

Gran Canaria:
A typical day combines language classes, sports, cultural workshops, and excursions. Students enjoy surf lessons at Las Canteras Beach, kayaking, paddle surfing, team games, and visits to the Elder Museum, Poema del Mar Aquarium, and historic districts of Vegueta and Triana. Full-day trips explore Maspalomas Dunes, Puerto Rico Beach, Anfi del Mar, Mogán, Guayadeque caves, and villages like Arucas and Teror. The program ends with a farewell party and certificate ceremony. Optional activities include jet skiing, paragliding, banana boat rides, escape rooms, and airsoft.
Tenerife:
Students take part in language classes, cultural visits, and a variety of outdoor and sports activities. Highlights include water sports, hiking, creative workshops, and excursions to Teide National Park, Siam Park, Loro Parque, and local traditional villages. The schedule balances academic learning with adventure, teamwork, and cultural immersion, concluding with a farewell celebration and certificate presentation. Optional extras include additional adventure experiences for those seeking more excitement.

Académique
The academic programs of both the Gran Canaria and Tenerife Summer Camps are designed for students aged 12–18 and focus on developing practical communication skills in an international and interactive environment. Students can choose between English or Spanish courses, with 20 lessons per week (15 hours) taught by qualified native teachers.
The courses follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and aim to help students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through communicative and task-based learning. Lessons encourage active participation and include group work, projects, and real-life communication activities that help students gain confidence using the language in everyday situations.
Classes are organized in small groups of up to 20 students, ensuring a dynamic learning environment and allowing teachers to provide personalized support and continuous feedback throughout the program. Teaching materials and activities are adapted to the students’ level and learning style, helping them consolidate previous knowledge while developing new language skills.
Continuous evaluation is used to monitor students’ progress during the camp, ensuring that each participant benefits from a structured and effective learning experience while enjoying the cultural and social aspects of the program.
Calendrier
The weekly schedule at both the Gran Canaria and Tenerife Summer Camps is designed to balance academic learning, cultural experiences, and leisure activities. Students attend 20 language lessons per week (15 hours) from Monday to Friday, usually scheduled in the morning or afternoon, depending on the group.
A typical day begins with breakfast, followed by language classes divided into interactive sessions with short breaks between lessons. After classes, students participate in organized activities, sports, or cultural visits around the city.
During the week, students take part in four half-day excursions, which may include activities such as beach sports, kayaking, surfing lessons, visits to museums, city tours, or cultural landmarks.
In addition, the program includes two full-day excursions each week to explore the island. Excursions in Gran Canaria may include Maspalomas Dunes, Puerto Rico Beach, Mogán, Anfi del Mar, Guayadeque caves. Excursions in Tenerife may include Teide National Park, Santa Cruz city tour, Loro Parque, beaches, and visits to historic towns such as La Laguna.
Evenings are dedicated to social and leisure activities, including group games, supervised free time, or special events. The program concludes with a farewell party and certificate ceremony, celebrating the students’ experiences and achievements during the camp.

Accommodation and Facilities:
Students attending the Gran Canaria Summer Camp stay in 4-star hotels located in the city center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, within walking distance of both the school and Las Canteras Beach. Accommodation is provided in shared rooms with 2–3 students per room, creating a comfortable and social environment. Each room includes Wi-Fi and a private bathroom, ensuring comfort and convenience throughout the stay.
In Tenerife, students stay in a 3-star resort, offering shared rooms with 2–3 students per room in a comfortable and social environment. The resort provides Wi-Fi and other facilities to ensure a convenient and enjoyable stay.
Students at both camps receive full board, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are usually served at the hotel, while during full-day excursions students receive a packed lunch or eat at a local restaurant.
Lessons take place at the Language Campus facilities in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, which are equipped with modern classrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, computers, and digital screens to support interactive learning. In Tenerife, classes are held at a nearby school close to the hotel, and students will be transported there by private bus.
Both camps benefit from their prime locations, allowing easy access to beaches, cultural attractions, sports facilities, museums, and other activity locations used throughout the program. This provides students with a safe and dynamic environment where they can learn, explore, and enjoy the island.

Localisation
The nearest airport to Language Campus: Summer Camps Gran Canaria / Tenerife is Gran Canaria: Aeropuerto de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria // Tenerife: Tenerife South Airport – Reina Sofía (TFS). Airport pickup is available upon request. Airport transfers are included for students arriving at Gran Canaria Airport (LPA) & Tenerife South Airport on the official arrival and departure dates of the camp. Students are welcomed at the airport by Language Campus staff, who accompany them safely to the Hotel accommodation. Participants should provide their flight details in advance so that transfers can be properly arranged. For departures, students are accompanied back to the airport and assisted with the check-in process when necessary, ensuring a safe and organized transfer experience.
