Our facilities, in a modern building with a classic Andalusian feel, have 20 spacious and bright classrooms, all equipped with audio-visual technology, one of them also has a library with a wide range of material available to students and in another there is a 25-seat cinema for showing films in Spanish, lectures and seminars. We also have more than 400m2 of terrace with buffet and cafeteria service. There are also offices and common areas. Free WIFI connection is available throughout the school.

Moreover, we provide exclusive transfer services to guarantee a smooth transition to your educational experience. Among its advantages we highlight the great opportunity to live an authentic immersion in our culture, to continue practising the language at home with family members, and to make new friends, all in a relaxed and fun environment.
The host families will invite you to participate in all the activities that they organize and will help you integrate and feel like at home.
The characteristics of each family are different, there may be young families with small children, separated ladies or retired couples, with or without pets. They can live in large houses, sometimes even with a pool or live in smaller apartments near the city center or the beach. The first condition to be considered as a host family is that they have time to dedicate to the students. The second is the distance from the school, which can’t exceed 20 minutes
We understand that for many students it is the first time they live this experience and we want it to be unforgettable. At the end or your stay, you will have really good memories, friends for life, and a second home in Spain!
All our host families have been carefully selected; before being admitted they have to pass a strict inspection by our accommodation manager. These controls are renewed every year.
As a specialized school for young people, we take special care in choosing families for our youngest students. In the case of teenage students, accommodation is full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner included every day).
On week days, the family will take care of breakfast and dinner, while lunches will be served at the school lunch Hall. During weekends, they will receive a picnic lunch to take to the excursion (Saturdays) or they will eat at home with the family (Sundays)
The rooms will be double or triple, sharing with another student of different nationality, except if there are two friends / brothers who want to share.
Equipment and conditions:
- A comfortable bedroom with natural light, with an appropriate sized bed (bunk beds can be used for students under the age of 16), as well as bedding and enough closet / drawer space to store your clothes
- Shared bathroom. The family will provide towels. (please bring your own toilet products)
- Cleaning and laundry once a week. (ask about the use of an iron).
- Wifi: almost all our families have wifi. If they do not have it, they will share their mobile network with the student for messages or emergencies.
- Visits: if you want to receive visits from your family or friends, please let us know. We will inform you if this option is available and the cost of the stay.
- Smoking: Smoking is not allowed inside the house, nor outside in the presence of students
- Telephone: The use of the family landline is not allowed. In case of emergencies, ask the family for permission and pay the cost of the call
- Keys: Minors under 18 years of age will not receive the family house keys during their stay. The family is at all times informed of the student’s program and their schedules so that they will be at home when they return.

General Conditions: MARAVILLAS does not assume responsibility for costs incurred due to flight delays (e.g. accommodation, etc.). MARAVILLAS is not responsible for the loss or theft of belongings. Students are expected to have adequate medical and travel insurance. There are no refunds of fees for days missed during the course, late arrivals, early departures or holidays. MARAVILLAS reserves the right to cancel all arrangements and reservations without prior notice if our payment conditions are not met. Although MARAVILLAS aims to be as inclusive as possible, there may be cases where we are not equipped and trained to best meet your needs. In the event that you are a student with a particular mobility difficulty, learning difficulty or other condition that may hinder your learning or access to the MARAVILLAS facilities, we ask that you check with us before booking. Maravillas reserves the right to change prices, cancel or modify courses, and amend schedules at any time prior to registration, as well as make additional modifications to these terms and conditions with 4 weeks notice. Accommodation and ages – Host families: MARAVILLAS PROGRAMAS INTERNACIONALES SL inspects all the houses of the host families, it has a file with the number of rooms, the measurements and the furniture available as well as the additional amenities they have. It also has all the information regarding the family structure, children, relatives and pets, as well as eating habits and tobacco consumption. MARAVILLAS PROGRAMAS INTERNACIONALES SL guarantees a smoke-free environment. Families and students must smoke outside (on the terrace, balcony or in the garden). All families are located at an average distance of between 20 and 40 minutes from the school walking. According to the needs of the students, families will be assigned taking into account the following criteria: Students in adult courses (+18) never share a family with students under 18 years of age. Adults (18+) stay individually as a student/family or can share a room with another student over 18 years of age. In the case of children under 18 years of age, Maravillas accommodates up to a maximum of 4 students of the same sex per family. The age range for youth courses is 13 to 17 years old and that is the range with which they can share accommodation. In the case of a shared double room, students of different sexes are not accommodated except for siblings. In international summer courses, the school always accommodates students of different nationalities in the same house to avoid the use of their mother tongue and favor the practice of Spanish, unless otherwise expressly requested. During their stay, the student can request one (1) change of accommodation at no cost if the assigned one does not meet their expectations or a problem occurs. From the second onwards, each change of accommodation will have a cost of €25 for transport costs. If the student suffers from an allergy or illness, he or she must notify us at the time of booking. Online registration: Fill out the registration form and you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. It is not possible to send an online registration without having read and accepted the General Conditions. For registration to be final, you must pay a deposit of 150 euros, this being part of the total payment (not an extra fee). The remaining amount must be paid upon receipt of the final confirmation and invoice, no later than 14 days before the student’s arrival, in any case before the student’s arrival. All registration is subject to these conditions, which you will accept when registering at MARAVILLAS PROGRAMAS INTERNACIONALES SL Cancellations We are always working to update our Terms and Conditions and make the course booking process as clear as possible for our customers and here is a brief overview of the conditions that have been in place since the start of the 2019 COVID pandemic and will last until the restrictions for the state of alert are lifted. All cancellations must be notified in writing to Maravillas Programas Internacionales a minimum of 28 days before the start of the course. The deposit of 150 euros is non-refundable. Refunds for cancellation of registration: 21 to 14 days before course start: 90% of remaining fees will be refunded. 13 to 8 days before course start: 75% of remaining fees will be refunded. Less than 7 days: no refund. If the student wishes to withdraw after the start of the course, no refund of fees will be made. Any refund can only be made by the office or representative to whom the fees were originally paid. Students on student visas have the right to arrange holidays for 10% of the course period; however, they must inform the school before the start of the course and within the visa period. Before arriving in Spain If canceled for reasons related to COVID-19 and up to 14 days before arrival date, the student will receive a 100% refund of tuition and accommodation fees; If the student cancels less than 14 days before arrival – €60 will be charged as cancellation fees. Once in Spain / Registration If you need to shorten your trip for reasons related to COVID-19, you can take online classes, accept a voucher for future study in the next 12 months, or cancel your remaining program and get a refund for the balance of your tuition (for full weeks, not partial weeks). Once in Spain / Accommodation with a family or shared apartments If you need to shorten the trip for reasons related to COVID-19, the school will issue a voucher for future use (for full weeks, not partial weeks). If the student booked an apartment/hotel that is not school property, other conditions may apply. Any refund can only be made by the office or representative to whom the fees were originally paid. If the student wishes to withdraw after the start of the course, there will be no refund of fees. Late arrival and absence Periods of absence due to vacation or other reasons cannot be made up with a free extension of the course. No refunds are allowed if the student is late to the course or absent during the course. Rates are not transferable from one person to another. In the event that students become ill (any chronic illness must be reported before the course begins) during the course, with the official medical certificate, they will be able to make up missed classes at a later date. For students on long-term student visas, make-up of absence with certificates can only be done during the visa period. Reductions: There is no refund of fees for reducing a course after its start. These terms also apply to students who are part of a group. Cancellation fees will be waived if there is a replacement student. There is no refund of fees for days missed during the course/late arrival/early departure/holidays. During peak periods, classes may be held at additional locations. If a student wishes to return to their home country or take a vacation elsewhere during the period of their language course enrollment, they are free to do so, but no credit will be given for lost study time. Parental consent is required for 16 and 17 year old students for any missed classes or activities. Expulsions: There is no refund. Expelled students will be sent home immediately at their own expense. Force Majeure: MARAVILLAS will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations (and will therefore not be obliged to provide any compensation) if the failure is caused by any reason beyond the reasonable control of MARAVILLAS. Nor will MARAVILLAS be responsible for any costs incurred by or on behalf of students as a result of such cause. These causes will include, but are not limited to, governmental acts, war, threat of war, riots, civil conflicts, labor disputes, terrorist activities, natural or nuclear disasters, exceptionally adverse weather conditions and infectious diseases. NATIONAL HOLIDAYS: No refund. The school will be closed on the following dates in 2024, and no refunds will be issued for these days: January 1-8, February 28, March 29, May 1, August 15, October 12, November 1 , December 6 and 9, and from December 21 to 31, 2024. Late arrival and lack of assistance: Refunds are not accepted in the event that the student arrives late to the course or does not attend classes. For periods of absence due to vacation or any other reason, we are not obliged to admit free extensions of the course. The paid course cannot be passed from one person to another.
